Colin blows a tune through a harmonica while playing a tune on a guitar he found on a fright train on the train jumping to the town. Kyle looks out the door.
"I can't believe you are so happy right now about this." Kyle slaps a piece of hay out of the train. "We literally broke physics, and got teleported to the middle of the midwest, and all you can do is be happy."
Colin looks up. "This was my dream since I started my band though...not the physics part, weird alien shit makes my brain hurt." he pulls up the map of the area and finds out they aren't far from the location. "Maybe we should jump here."
Kyle objects. "Do you want to die?"
"Well kind of, but I don't think our command line buddy will like that."
Colin jumps and rolls out properly. Kyle panics and runs out, falling flat on his face on the dirt. He gets up to his feet and looks back at the train. "That was a good guitar huh?"
"I miss my guitar but yeah." Colin says as he starts walking towards the location his phone was pointing too. "We are getting close."
Kyle stops. "We have been on the road train hopping for 3 days, do you think this command line could of at least given us a car and hotel fare."
Colin reminds Kyle. "I don't want to alert the feds that we have this money." but he wants to shower.
Suddenly, a notification appears on his phone. It is another message from the transmissions.
> PLEASE GO TO THIS DAYS INN DOWN THE STREET AND USE YOUR ID TO GET INTO ROOM 132. THE FARE HAS BEEN PAID. THERE IS OUTFITS FOR BOTH OF YOU TO ENTER THIS PERSONS HOUSE_
Colin doesn't respond. He wants to make sure that his line isn't lying. Kyle looks up from the ground and asks Colin a question.
"What should we call this command line...thingy?"
Colin answers without skipping a beat. "Boss. In honor of our old boss." Kyle seems concerned but agrees with the idea. The original boss of the first phase has gone missing afterward and Colin and Kyle never heard from him again. They had a feeling that he was the command line, but they both agreed that he retired after their final mission. He wouldn't come back after so long.
They get close to the Days Inn that was mentioned. "We're stopping here."
Kyle gets happy. "What do you finally wanna rent a room?" as they climb the staircase to the second floor and get to 132.
Colin slides his ID into the door and the light flashes green. "Already done." he says as he opens the door to the AC on full blast. Kyle runs in and sees suits on the beds for each of them, each made to their size. There is also pajamas for them. He shouts "I HAVE NEVER HAD AC FEEL SO GOOD BEFORE."
Colin smiled but missed the life of playing a guitar on a train down the Midwest. However, he did also enjoy the AC. He went into the bathroom and showered quick before walking out and laying on the bed after moving the suit. Kyle was in the shower now.
Colin decided to take a moment to watch the news. He tuned the news to CNN and saw a breaking news bulletin. What he saw shocked him and made his heart skip a beat.
"KYLE GET THE FUCK OUT HERE. WE HAVE A PROBLEM."
Kyle runs out half dressed still putting on his shirt. "What do you..." Kyle freezes and sees on the screen a spray painted >_ on the Stock Exchange building, similar art appeared on buildings across the world. People began protesting with this symbol demanding justice. Tear gas appeared in the mist of the rioting.
The headline scared them the most.
"OUTER HEAVEN OUTLAWED BY FBI, LEADERS WANTED."
