Olivia's PoV

"Today, we will be making Amortentia, which is an extremely strong love potion," Professor Slughorn said. I looked at Remus and grinned. It was awesome being his desk partner.

"Easy," he whispered. We had made this potion plenty of times together.

"Please go and get your ingredients and begin!" The professor commanded.

"I'll get the ingredients, you can prep the cauldron," I told Remus, turning away from the cauldron towards the shelves that contained all the different ingredients at the back of the class. We continued a steady flow of conversation as we worked, the only incident being him almost cutting his finger due to staring at Lily Evans for too long. I filled a vial and handed it to Professor Slughorn. He frowned, as we hadn't actually read through the instructions, and had changed a couple of the steps and ingredients, due to our previous experience. He looked at it, then sniffed it cautiously. His face broke out in a grin.

"Olivia Carsil and Remus Lupin have made a perfect Amortentia Potion, perhaps even better than mine!" He announced loudly. Remus and I grin, pleased with our fast work, and flushing with the praise from a teacher.

"Please come up and smell this potion everyone! Miss Carsil and Mr Lupin can go first."

"Oh, it's alright Professor, we'd like to go last," Remus replied. The class began lining up, all writing down what they smelled on a bit of parchment. Finally it was my go. I sniffed.

Remus, chocolate, grass, freshly baked cookies, mint, James' cologne.

"Ooh, I got a new one, Remmy!" I exclaim.

"My turn," he answers. He sniffs deeply and turns slightly pink.

"Wait a second, have you changed your shampoo?" He asks, turning to me.

"Umm, I did, but that was quite a while ago... When was the last time we did Amortentia?" I reply.

"Oh, it must have been Christmas last year, because we did Polyjuice over the summer."

"Yep, that makes sense, I got a new type of shampoo from Mum when I came over that day," I say, remembering.

"Mum?" He questions.

"Oops, not legally yet, I meant Hope," I yelp, blushing. He smirks. "Shut up."

"Hold on, you've made Amortentia before?" Professor Slughorn asks.

"Yes, long story, I'll give you the short answer; I went to Beauxbatons," I reply confidently.

"Can I see your parchment?" I ask Remmy, turning to face him. He passes it to me, and I give him mine.

Olivia, chocolate, old books, freshly baked cookies, mint, rose perfume.

"Oh, I know all those people!" I say, and he nods, indicating he knows mine too.

"Wait, Remus," I say. He looks at me questioningly.

"Yes?"

"This means we've found our second soulmates, both of us!" He gasps, grabbing my hands.

"YAY!" I laugh at his enthusiasm, letting him spin me in circles. The rest of the class have started whispering behind their hands, no doubt gossiping about us. Oh well, whatever. The class ends and we make our way to the common room.

We both drop our stuff at the edge of the couch, and I flop down, him following soon after, putting his head in my lap and letting me run my fingers through his hair. The people in our potions class start whispering to their friends who weren't there, probably stretching the tale far too much. Remus falls asleep, and I gently lift his head off my lap, replacing it with a pillow and curling across his chest. The last thing I hear before I fall asleep is a girls' voice saying, "D'you think they're dating?".
