Olivia's POV

"And we have a transfer from Beauxbatons Academy, who will be entering sixth year; Olivia Carsil!" Professor Dumbledore calls. I step forward and sit on the stool, and the Sorting Hat is placed on my head.

"Hmm, certainly brave and loyal enough for Gryffindor, cunning enough for Slytherin, intelligent enough for Ravenclaw, kind enough for Hufflepuff, but where to put you?" The Sorting Hat pondered.

"I think it had better be...

GRYFFINDOR!" The Hat yelled. I smiled. I walked over to Remus, who was sitting across from James and Sirius, with a red-haired girl on his left-hand side. There was another boy, with blonde-ish hair, watery blue eyes, and a pudgy frame. I sat down on Remus' right-hand side, placing my feet across his lap and leaning up against the girl on my other side, who smiled, introducing herself as Marlene McKinnon.

"Hi, I'm Lily Evans," said the red-haired girl, reaching over Remmy to shake my hand.

"I have respect for you," commented Marlene, "Remus is letting you put your feet in his lap."

"Yes, and she fell asleep in Mooney's lap, him playing with her hair," Sirius says cheekily, "And the first time we met, she kissed his cheek after doing this cool backflip thingy!"

"If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were suggesting that we have crushes on each other!" I say. I knew this was what he was suggesting, and it was so ridiculous I almost burst out laughing. We were practically brother and sister.

~In the girl's dorm~

I woke up screaming. Lily was shaking me.

"You were calling out Remus' name in your sleep, Olivia," she said, looking concerned.

"I need to see him," I gasp. It's the new moon, meaning that, basically there is no moon. I get ridiculously angry and mad on new moons, almost like a werewolf, only not actually transforming, but only since Remus was bitten.

"Okay, I'll take the spell off the stairs, and I'll have to come with you so it keeps working until we leave," Lily explains to me. I nod.

We run up to the boys' dorm, check that nobody's naked, and run in. I collapse next to Remus. I inch his shirt up, only half-aware that the boys, including Remus, who lay very still, had woken up and were staring at me, as well as Lily. Lily had the good sense to cast a silencing spell on the room, so no-one could hear us. I pull the shirt up, bit by bit, almost at the bite mark when Remus catches on to what I'm doing.

"Liv, you don't want to see it, it only makes it worse, every time, remember?" He says, gently catching my hands.

"No Remus, you know it's the only way that I can calm down after one," I plead desperately.

"Alright," he says, releasing my hands, "She's going to yell, so brace yourselves."

I slide his sweater up oh-so-slowly, then, I see it. I scream. I get up from Remus' bed, walking over to the window.

"YOU ****ING WEREWOLF YOU DAMN RUINED MY ****ING LIFE!" I scream. The boys obviously think I'm talking about Remus, because they form a protective circle around him. Lily, though, is still in shock. I walk back to Remus, tears streaming down my face. The boys tighten the circle as I stalk over to Remus.

"It's a new moon tonight, isn't it?" Remus asks. I nod. Then I lose control over my anger.

"YOU ****ING IDIOT! YOU LEAPT IN FRONT OF A ****ING WEREWOLF!" I yell at him.

"I'm aware," he replies calmly. Sirius was intelligent enough not to make a joke out of this, and so was James.

"WIITHOUT THINKING ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES! I THOUGH YOU WERE GONNA BLEED OUT, UNTIL DUMBLEDORE SHOWED UP!" I scream in his face, having pushed past his friends.

"Wait for it," Remus mutters. I start sobbing violently, and Remus lifts his sweater, ready for the routine. He lay in front of me and I let my tears soak into the scar, then, he pulls me onto his bed, and tells Lily that she can stay or go back to the dorm, but that from now on, I would sleep here on every new moon. I fall asleep wrapped in my brother-figure's embrace.
