《Abyss' POV》

The scroll looks like an old dutch song from the 30's. As Phyro said... but dutch is far more reliable than this new language.

"We found the scroll and now we have to solve it?" Ciello whines as I stare at the scroll evenly placed on top of the table.

"Shhh... are we sure we can trust our surroundings? What if a bug is planted here or some kind of tracking schematic?" I hypothesized. Yes, it is true. Anyone can place a device that can exploit our plans. They use it and then take what is rightfully ours before we even get there.

Why does things have to be so hard!

"What's next? Coded Grocery List at Wal-Mart? " Phyro sarcastically commented and then blinked at me. The rest of them laughed hardly.

"It's so boring in here" Golumn says.

"Let's get out and leave the code-solving to Abyss" Ciello states.

"Yes... he can do it!" Phyro confirms and all of them disappears.

These people really can't take anything seriously. They are not aware of the causes of this hunt. The Hunt of Artifacts. If we have all of it... we can end the war between the Beginnings and the Archaeknides. The War that changed everything. I hope we can end it... Hopefully.

I sigh and then peeked into the scroll again. Still not ringing a bell. But I can solve this without distractions.

"Ok! Let's start!" I scream to myself as my voice echoes through the halls.

《After 15 minutes》

Oh no! Im screwed. I don't even have any further results! Wah! This code really is extremely insurmountable. Hmmm... Codes... Codes... Codes... What am I missing?

"Abyss... we found this old looking mirror outside..." Phyro and the others interrupts my thinking session and I shot an angry glance at him. He seems to ignore it and then continues. "We thought you can rest and try having fun with looking at you're jagged reflection"

They mock me? This is a real war! They think this is just a game? This really grinds up my gears ... I can't hold it back!

"Will you guys just shut up for one hour or more! I don't have time for you're childish actions anymore! It's always the same! On and on and on and on! Again and again! Can't you have enough of these useless trinkets you explore? Just... Leave me alone." I scream ... Oh no...

"Oh... Uhm... " They say and then all of them runs away causing the Old-Looking Mirror to fall and break into peices.

*CLANG*

Is this the real me? Is it all my fault? No! It's theirs! Yes! It's mine!

I'm such a bad friend... and if I don't crack this code... I'll be the worst person in the whole wide world.

I lool at the broken mirror and then knelt down on the floor. I crashed into tears thinking of the words I said, backtracking the scene and regretting everything.

I lean on the table beside me and it topples to my side. No! It can't be... Have we already lost the war?

Then I saw it... The mirror shards. It reflected the scroll into a undeciphered pattern. Of course! How could I be so blind!

"Eureka! I solved it!" I scream and then continue. "Ciello, Golumn, Phyro! I sol-" I stop and remembered what I said.

"Just leave me alone"

I felt a pang in my heart. It hurts... I can't believe I did that... I hurt my friend's.. no.. brother's feelings.

"I-i'm s-sorry.. " I murmur as tears well up from my eyes. They can't forgive me... They will not forgive... me . Im such a monster!
