RANDY | The Notebook

Andy's POV:

As I sit in class, doodling in my tiny little notebook I feel a faint breathing on the very back of my neck. I quickly whip my head around to see my (unfortunately) best friend Rye standing behind me smiling.

"Rye Rye what are you doing?"

"I just came to walk you over to your locker Andy Pandy. Why? Are ya hiding something? "

"Don't call me that you dork!"

(I legit call all my friends Dork and don't know why 😂)

I very quickly stuff my old notebook into my small backpack and stand up slowly trudging to the door with Rye hot on my tail (is that the right word?)

"You totally are hiding something!!"

"I'm really not! I don't have a single thing to hide!"

I turn around and face him boldly (or so i think) whilst Rye looks at me completely unconvinced.

"Fine then. If you have nothing to hide, then let me see your notebook."

"Except that." I mutter under my breath.

He leaves it and I turn around to walk away, Rye running up next to me as we take a walk towards the back doors.

"Let's stop here quickly as I need to get my headphones out."

Rye sits down on an empty bench and opens up his backpack and I sir beside him putting my backpack next to my feet. He gives me a giddy look and quickly snatches the bag from beneath my feet.

"Hey! Rye no!"

"Oh come on Ands it surely can't be that bad."

As I struggle to grab my bag, he pulls out my small black notebook and starts flipping through the pages.

I suddenly stop struggling and turn a deep shade of red. Rye turns to me with an emotionless expression and I softly sigh turning around to sadly walk myself home.

Just then I felt a strong grip on my shoulder and turn do that I am facing Rye again. He slowly leans in and our lips touch softly. Butterflies explode in my stomach as he pulls away.

"I like the sound of Andy Beaumont"
