LANCE'S P.O.V.

It's been a year now since Voltron brought peace to the galaxy and I'm still not used to waking up in my parents house.
I don't know, maybe I just miss the other paladins.. and... Allura... I still can't believe she's gone, my family tells me I need to move on, I know I should but.. it's hard.
"Lance, wake up sleepy head, mom made breakfast!" My sister, Veronica bursts into my room, making me jump. "I'm already awake, ok, geez."
"Then come down stairs, Lazy." She teased.

I come down stairs and eat breakfast with my family, as we ate my mom was asking what we were going to do for the day. "So, Lance what do you plan on doing for the day?" "The usual." I say in a monotone voice, my mom looked at me with a worried look and a sad smile. "Lance, you need to do more with your life, I don't mean to sound rude but you practically live in those fields, you need to go out with your old friends or make some new ones maybe even.. meet someone new." My mom says.
"We're all just worried about you." My dad tells me.
"I know.. I just.. need.. time." I say.
My mom sighs. "What about you, Veronica, what are your plans?"
"Oh, I'm gonna take Axca to an amusement park, I want to introduce her to some earth fun."
"So, you finally asked her out, huh?" I say with a smug smile. "ITS NOTHING LIKE THAT!!" She shouts at me as she blushed. "Uh huh, sure." I say smirking. "Shut up!" She says as she punches my arm. "Ow!" I say, clutching my that arm she punched.
"Ok, you two." My dad chuckled. "You better get going then, Veronica, you don't want to be late for your date."
"IT'S NOT A DATE!" Veronica yells while blushing as everyone laughs.

KEITH'S P.O.V.

I Finally get to go back to earth after a year, negotiating with other planets is harder then it seems. "You feeling alright?" Shiro puts a hand on my shoulder. "Yeah, just tired, can't wait to just relax on earth for a while."
"Can't wait to see Lance?"
"What do yo-"
"You can't hide anything from me, I can tell."
I stare at Shiro for a while and then look back out the cockpit. "It doesn't matter anyway, he's straight, and I've chosen to accept that he won't feel the same way, and I'm ok with that." I say, but I don't sound ok.
"That doesn't mean you can't miss him or want to see him."
"You're right." I smile sadly.

We enter earth's atmosphere and immediately Pidge contacts us. "It's great to have you back guys."
"Hey, Pidge, long time no see." Shiro says.

When we land, Pidge runs up and hugs Shiro and then me. "I missed you guys." She says.
"We missed you two, Pidge" I say. "Hey, where's Lance?"
"Oh, he's at home, I think." Pidge says.
"Go ahead and see him, what ever needs to be done I'll take care of it." Shiro tells me.
"Are you sure? I mean I don't want t-" "Just go see him." Shiro chuckles. I nod and run off, Cosmo trailing right behind me.

LANCE'S P.O.V.

After working I sat underneath a tree and took a nap, I don't know how long I was out but I was woken up by something falling on top of me and licking my face. "Eww, gross!" [woof] "Cosmo? What are you..." Before I could finish, I see Keith running towards us. "Lance!" He waves at me.
He stops where I'm laying on the grass. "Hey, Keith, man it's been a while." He stretches his arm out to help me up, I take his hand and he lifts me up to.. hug me.. I wouldn't say out of no where but.. I didn't expect him too, regardless I hug him back... a bit awkwardly.
He quickly pulls away from the hug while.. is he.. blushing?
"Sorry, that was.. out of no where." He says.
"No, it's fine, like I've said it's been a while." I tell him.
