"Hey, Stephanie." Tony waved at the sorcerer who had just entered the living room.
"When will you stop calling me that, Tony?" Stephen sighed, honestly annoyed with the nickname, and a bit at his husband (he can't stay mad at Tony, not even for five minutes.)
"I'll never stop and you know that, Stephanie." The inventor grinned cheekily, looking up to his lover with a devilish glint in his eyes.
Stephen shook his head, not bothered to engage more into the conversation, not wanting it to end up as a small argument between them. He looked around, his eyes narrowing as he looked back at Tony.
"Where's Peter? He normally comes running when he hears me." The sorcerer pointed out, genuinely worried for their child.
"He's with Clint and Rhodey." Tony said as he placed his Stark-pad on to his lap. "He wanted to hang out with his favorite uncles."
"I dont trust that archer with our son." Stephen complained and sat down on the couch. "He blew up the living room with glitter last year."
"Well, do you trust Rhodey?" Tony asked, watching them man in front of him sigh.
"Yes, but couldn't Danvers go with Peter and Rhodey? Or is she at the air force base again?" Tony shrugged at the question, but put a hand on his husband's shoulder reassuringly.
"Don't worry, Rhodey promised to kill Clint if he got our baby in some mess or hurt him." The inventor reassured Stephen, who now felt a little better.
"Fine." The man huffed. "But I swear―"
"You'll send Clint to a random part of the world or the dark dimension, got it." Tony chuckled, causing Stephen to smile softly at him.
"You know me so well." Stephen murmured as he leaned over Tony, pressing his lips to his cheek.
"I love you." Tony mumbled quietly, even almost shy to say it.
"I love you too." Stephen smiled softly at the words, even though he has heard them everyday and said it himself.
"Apologies, boss but the team has requested that you join them in the mandatory meeting." FRIDAY intervened before anything could happen. "They are currently 5 floors down, Shall i tell them to give you a few minutes to get ready?"
"Yes, please baby―girl." Tony sighed with annoyance. He placed the device in his hand down, got up lazily and dragged his feet as he walked to the door. Stephen chuckled at his lover's antics.
"Don't worry, Tony." Stephen reassured him, smirking softly. "It'll only be two hours or so, depends if Mr. Rogers decides to make a speech about righteousness."
