Anthony's POV
I listened to my clocks ticking for over a half an hour now, dying of boredom. Waiting for my boyfriend to come back from his 'trip to the bar', I sighed to myself knowing he'd come home around 2AM. I looked over at the clock and saw I could still do something. I could go beat up some bandits, maybe have a few drinks myself...But I wasn't interested in any of that. I'd be too weak to fight someone, and to be honest I'm not one to hold my liquor either. I just grabbed my jacket and scarf and headed out the door, sighing as I felt it was a little chilly out. It was the beginning of winter, so I wasn't surprised. I grabbed my scarf and wrapped it comfortably around my neck and mouth. I smiled as I felt the warm fuzzy feeling of the scarf on my face, it immediately warmed me up.
No one around here enjoys the chilliness of winter, but In my mind I don't really mind it at all. I actually think it's quite nice. The only reason is because I'm just a weird person. Like...I'm not even fully human.
I pulled my hand from my pocket and looked down at it as I walked down the cracked sidewalk. I walked by many quiet and nice houses, but one stood out from the rest. One was bigger but also a lot louder. I could hear everything happening in there. It sounded like shouting. Something was going down in there, and I didn't want to be around for much longer. I just kept on walking until I reached a gas station. I figured I'd get a few snacks and maybe some fresh bottled water for Dylan, my boyfriend, and some packs of gum.
I sighed to myself as I paid and left the station. Walking out of the door, I felt a unusual feeling when a mysterious young man past me. Our eyes met for a split second before we walked past each other. He went inside, while I headed home. He had a black hoodie on with the hood over his head. His eyes a dark brown, and hair a dark black. He was wearing an angry resting face as we past each other.
I kept walking into the now dark night along the sidewalk. I felt some snowflakes fall onto my pink nose. I sniffled and rubbed my nose a little as I kept walking. "Meow" I felt a small black cat rub across my leg. I smiled softly and bent down to pet it. I noticed it had a collar. "Aw, you must be lost poor baby." I flipped the collar tag around and read it out loud to myself.
