"Mom hurry up! I wanna see the house!" The toddler exclaimed as she tugged on her mothers hand. "Let me grab a few of our things ok? Here take this" Courtney handed her child,Amelia, a small box with some of her toys while she grabbed a random box. Amelia gladly took it and ran up to the house as Courtney followed behind. Once the door was unlocked the child rushed inside to explore. It wasn't a very big house but it was affordable. Only thing it was a pretty old house so it did have a few problems but they just needed somewhere to stay. Her husband walked out on her and their four year old so they needed a fresh start. "Mom look at this! Oh and this!" Amelia said while dramatically pointing to things she found interesting. "Yes I see "Courtney glanced over before starting to head outside "Be careful I'm going to get more boxes" Amelia hurried to the stairs to explore the second floor. While she wondered in and out of the rooms she started picking up little pieces of things that she found. "Ow...mommy!"Amelia began to sob. She accidentally found a piece of broken glass and scratched her little fingers. Courtney heard her cry and set down what she had and rushed up stairs and picked her up "what happened?" Amelia was to much in hysterics to say anything so she just lifted her finger to show her mother. Courtney took her down stairs ,gave the cut a little wash and a bandaid. But most importantly kissed it better. After that little Amelia was fine and she helped her mom with bringing things in and unpacking.
