Chapter 9

"y-you're pregnant!"

"Shhhhh" Sakura said "D-Dont say it out loud" her eyes watering "and you're 100% sure it Sasuke's?" Naruto said "he's the only person I've been having sex with for the past 10 months" (besides Ino) Sakura said fully crying "calm down sakura...please" he said hugging her

"Thank you Naruto" Sakura said wiping her face "anytime" Naruto said with a warm smile "so..when did you find out?" Naruto said in kinda awkward tone "2 days ago at my appointment with Lady-Tsunade" Sakura said wiping her tears "Lady Tsunade said I'm 4 weeks along"

"A month?!" Naruto said in disbelief "basically" Sakura said feeling shame flow through her body "you're the only person, besides Lady-Tsuande, that knows" she said "please promise me you won't tell a soul" Sakura said putting her hands together

"Please Naruto...please"

"Ok" Naruto said with a warm smile "you're the best dummy" Sakura said with a tear falling down her face, hugging the dummy blonde

For the next 3 days Naruto continued on with his daily life and never saying a word about his mission. His one week flew by in the blink of an eye and throughout that one week guilt slowly began to creep up on Naruto, knowing the fact he was hiding something pretty big like a solo mission from his bestfriends, made him feel terrible

                       ~~~Friday after school~~~

"Hey Sasuke..wait up!"

"What's up dobe?"

"Heading somewhere?" out of curiosity he was wondering why his raven haired bestfriend seem to be in a hurry "I have a small meeting."

"Oh"

"Why?"

"N-No reason"

"There's a reason" Sasuke exclaimed "say it dobe..I don't have all day" Naruto sighed "I just thought we could chill together today...that's all" Sasuke looked at the blonde blankly

".....we can just hangout after my meeting, it's not a big deal dobe" Sasuke said confused "you're right" Naruto said scratching his head, smiling nervously "..is something going on that I need to know about" Sasuke said raising an eyebrow at the blonde

"I'll s-see you after your meeting teme!"

"What the hell is up with him?" Sasuke said asking himself

                   ~~~At Sasuke's Meeting~~~

"You wanted me lady-Tsunade?"

"Ah yes sasuke.." Tsunade said siting you straight "I have a few questions about something that I just occurred with our precious Naruto"

"What about the dobe?"

"Are you aware that Naruto is going to be starting a solo mission come tomorrow?" Tsunade asked connecting her fingers below her chin "He's WHAT!?"

"...Lady-Tsunade?"

".Sakura"

"What's going on.?"

"Naruto is going on a solo mission..tomorrow" Sakura and Tsunade could hear the anger in Sasuke's voice "wait..what?" Sakura said in disbelief  "so both of you are unaware of his mission" Tsunade said "Why in hell would you give him a SOLO mission in the the first place especially without running it by me first!" Sasuke said with pure anger "calm it Uchiha!" Both went silent when Tsunade banged her fist on the desk

"I called you both here to make sure you both knew of his mission" she said sitting back down

                          *After Their Meeting*

"Be careful...all of you"

"Of course Lady-Tsunade"

"Hn"

                          ~~~With Naruto~~~

....

"I guess he's not coming.." *sigh*

"Guess I'll have to wait who knows how long before I see sasuke again." Naruto laid down on his bed, plugged in his earbuds, trying not to overthink "he's not the only Uchiha that's going to be on my mind" Naruto sadly chuckled and closed his eyes

"Itachi..."

                      ~~~The Next Morning ~~~

"Let's get this over with" Naruto said as he slipped on his shoes and walked out the door with everything he needed

After 30mins of walking Naruto finally reached the entrance to the Leaf, only to be surprised by the two most familiar faces in the village

"S-Sasuke...Sakura!?"

"What were you thinking Naruto!!" Sasuke said fussing at the blonde "you weren't even going to tell me about this damn mission..were you?!" Glaring at the blonde "I-I.." is all the blonde could manage to say while choking on his words

"Sasuke! Calm down..let him talk" Sakura said stepping in between the boys "....Naruto?" the blonde looked away from meeting either one of their glares "....Its was stupid and egocentric of you to use THIS as a distraction" Sasuke said with annoyance and carelessness in his voice due to the fact that he knew what the blonde was trying to forget

"I'm...I'm sorry"

"Naruto...we forgive you, just please don't do anything of this sort again...we're a team..ok?" Sakura said with a reassuring smile, then both looked over at Sasuke

"...sasuke?"

......

*Sigh* "there's no point in staying mad forever...so whatever" Sasuke turned around "and plus you've already been assigned and accepted this mission, so there's no turning back now" said followed by another sigh

"Y-yeah"

"Let's just get this mission done with" Sasuke said walking ahead of both Naruto and Sakura "y-you're right!" they both said agreeing with Sasuke

Little did they know what was laying ahead for them in the near future....
