4. The past (ii)

It's been three days that Shivika had consummated their marriage. Though they didn't convey their feelings, they were happy with each other not knowing the upcoming storm waiting for them. They spent few romantic moments when time was available.

Tia had entered their lives claiming that she is pregnant with Shivaay's child. Pinky was very happy because she can now push away Anika from their lives. DNA reports were manipulated twice. But Anika was confident that Shivaay is innocent.

Seeing all their plans going in vain, Mrs. Kapoor came out with an idea of using daima, Shivaay & Om's nanny. She blackmailed Shivaay to marry Tia by divorcing Anika else she would reveal Om's illegitimacy to the world.

Shivaay was shocked. On one side there was his brother Om for whom he could fight with entire world. If he gets to know about the truth, his life will be spoiled. No, he can never let Om suffer so much.

But on the other side it was Anika. Leaving her was not possible for him. She is his first love after all. Though unsaid, his heart knows what she means to him. She is his happiness. She is his home.

The decision needs to be made. He can't be selfish by keeping Anika with him and let Om suffer after what all happened to him. He can't let Om go through consuming drugs again. Deciding to stand for Om, he called his lawyer.

It was night that Shivaay had reached Oberoi Mansion. Everyone were waiting for him including the lawyer. Seeing Shivaay Omru rushed to him.

Ru: Aap kaha the bhaiyya?

Om: We were worried Shivaay! Why did you call lawyer here?

Not answering them he took papers from lawyer. Holding Anika's hand he took her to their room ignoring everyone.

A: Shivaay kya hua? Aap theek hai na!

Shivaay made a stern face and forwarded papers to her. Anika looked at him shocked seeing them. They were Divorce papers. Her world got crushed within seconds.

S: Sign them and leave my life!

A: Lll..llekkin...Sshivaay..aa..achhanakk se..

S: I already told you that I will divorce you!

A: But..abhh ddii..

She couldn't even say the word. He felt his heart pricking to see her in this state. But he had to.

S: Why are you wasting my time? Sign them and leave my life.

A: Mein nahi karungi! Tia is behind this na? I know Shivaay..but she is not pregnant with your baby..

S: Bas Anika sign them..Don't take Tia's name! She has nothing to do with it.

A: Mein sign nahi karungi..suna aapne! Jab tak aap poori baat nahi kehte!

S: Shut the hell up Anika! Tum hoti koun ho mujhe mana karne waali?

A: Aap ki patni!

Shivaay's heart broke hearing her. She is his wife, his love, his everything. No Shivaay, don't fall week.

S: Sign these papers and get lost from my life! Mein tumhare jaise middle class ladki ko kabhi bhi apna family nahi maanunga! Sign them or else you know what I can do to the one you love so much! Sahil!

A: Shivaay aap phir se Sahil ko kyu involve kar rahe hai. Yeh humari mamla hai na..Please I beg you don't do anything..

S: I understand why aren't you not willing to sign it. You are addicted to this rich life na..Don't worry I will arrange alimony!
