Chapter Six

Kahit ako, ngayon ko lang din nalaman.

ngayon gabi lang din

sabi sa akin ni papa,

pupunta daw kami sa isang party.

party pala para sa akin, FOR MY ENGAGEMENT.

nung una, hindi talaga ako pumapayag, hindi ako bumibigay.

sino ba naman gustong ikasal sa isang stranger.

pero nung binanggit ni papa ang RAFAEL SANTOS as my groom,

i just laughed with tears falling from my eyes, and realized how life is ironic these days.

but i know, he is my destiny and he is the one for me.

After the party, my father with his father, and the both of us, just stayed up late, for some preparations for our wedding.

Our fathers agreed, 5 months after our graduation which is 1 month from now, will be our wedding day and the signal for the merging of our companies.

i felt excited but also nervous.

excited because every girl really wants to be married to the boy he really loved but also nervous, because in my young age, i will have a big responsiblity, because of being a future wife and mother.

FAST FORWARD~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (WEDDING DAY)

"Rafael, do you take April Lirio, to be your wedded wife, through richer or for poorer, through sick or in health?" Priest

"I do" Rafael

"April, do you take April Lirio, to be your wedded wife, through richer or for poorer, through sick or in health?" Priest

"I do"

"i bless you, in the name of The Father, And of The Son, And of The Holy Spirit. Amen. I pronounce you as husband and wife.

Now, you may kiss the bride." Priest.

And after the priest said the magic words of the wedding ceremony,

our lips met, and i felt the passion and love between us.

And we heard the loud applause from the crowd,

from our friends, loved ones, and our family.

ang love parang puzzle,

kasi minsan akala mo, tapos ka na, kompleto na, hindi pa pala, kasi minsan, akala mo na sa isang tao na ang lahat ng puzzle piece ng puso mo, pero meron pa palang isang tao na may hawak ng last piece na bubuo sa puso mo.

Oo, nainlove ako sa isang fraternity leader, nainlove ako sa isang basagulero, nainlove ako sa taong kayang pumatay ng tao, nainlove ako sa isang RAFAEL SANTOS, na kinakatakutan ng lahat.

Pero sabi nga nila, love is blind.

but in my case, i'm not blind of love because of the physical appearance,

but because of the attitude inside Raf.

Pero mas naniniwala ako, na LOVE IS NOT BLIND, IT JUST DON'T CARE (c)

i am not blind, because i saw all the good things and the bad things in/on  Rafael. I know all of his bad and good attitude that made me fall in love with him.

AND HIS IMPERFECTIONS?

I KNOW ALL OF IT. AND I KNOW THAT THESE IMPERFECTION OF HIS, MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM.

even if you are an angel like person, or you are an evil person.

even if you are good looking, or not so good looking.

even if you are like david, or like goliath.

even if YOU NEED IT, or NOT NEEDING IT.

even if YOU WANT IT, or NOT WANTING IT.

love will just come on your way,

kahit hindi mo siya kailangan, or kahit hindi mo siya gusto.

love will just pop-out from nowhere.

i tried to love for the first time, i failed, bacause i thought it was the end of our love story. but i tried to hold on some more, and now, i suceeded.

i am now his wife, he is now my husband. i am now, APRIL MARIE LIRIO-SANTOS.

why? how?

because i did not give up. i gave my self chance to love, chance to move on without letting go.

because i believed he is the one for me, he is the one who God made especially for me.

In love, you must not give up. just try and try, because trying something will make you succesful or a failure, but being a failure in love really does not make you a failure, but take this failures an advantage to your side because, you learned and will realize that, there is someone better for you. That will love you the way you will love him/her.
