Movie Night: Chapter Nine

               Me and Noah both arrived to Colby and Dalton's dorm, buzzing with excitement as I knocked on the door.
   "You're gonna love them Noah, they're so easy to talk to and easy to get along." I smiled, he smiled also.
   "Well if you like them, then I'll like them." I smiled at the reassurance as the door opened, Kim was the one to open it.
   "You must be Noah? I'm Kim, Elle's new bestie and dorm mate," introduced Kim, I laughed.
   "Nice to see you Kim." Greeted Noah, Dalton came up behind Kim and smiled when he saw us.
    "Ah sweet you guys made it, come in and help yourself to snacks." They opened the door fully and we walked in.
     The place had a really cool setup, there was two sofas, containing massive amounts of pillows and blankets and on a coffee table infront was snacks and drinks.
     We walked inside and took a seat on the couch, which was covered with pillows and blankets. The snacks were also placed on the table.
    "Wheres Colby?" I asked when they both came over to join us, Dalton sat down and patted his lap for Kim to sit in it.
    "He'll be back soon." They both said and started switching through Netflix finding a movie for all of us to watch.
     We all agreed to watch After, a movie I've wanted to see for a while but never had chance to watch it since I hardly ever had time for myself.
     Ten minutes into the movie, Colby came strolling in and took a seat next to me on the sofa.
    "Hey, you must be Noah?" He said, giving Noah a friendly fist pump and smiling at me before his attention back to the movie.
    "Ah, I've seen this movie before. It's actually quite good to be fair." Said Colby, looking at all of us when he said this.
    "Don't spoil it then." I said and chuckled, he smirked at me and promised he wouldn't.
     It was half an hour in when I felt something touch my hand under the blanket, I low key looked over to see that Colby was holding my hand, but he scootched over so it wouldnt be obvious.
     He must of noticed that I noticed, the expression on my face made him smirk before he made a shush sound. He didn't want to get caught, I tried moving my hand away but his grip was tight. I didnt want to ruin the night so I stayed put, feeling awkward and ashamed since my boyfriend was right next to me as this was happening.
    "Hey are you ok?" Whispered Noah, just then Colby's hand pulled away. I looked at him and nodded, but he didnt believe me.
    "Do you want to come back to my place? You look tired." He offered, I nodded happily knowing that I could get away from Colby.
    "We're gonna head off," Noah told everyone.
    "Ok mate, that's sound. We should do this another time," said Dalton. Noah smiled and nodded, I feel so guilty right now. My inner thoughts were screaming at me.
     As we said bye to everyone, Colby first pumped Noah and hugged me but it wasn't like his normal hugs, it was like he was seeing me for the first time in forever.
     The whole way to back to Noah's dorm was silent, I was too lost in my thoughts about what happened with Colby. I thought we were just friends? He knows I'm with Noah but still tried to make a move.
   "Elle, Elle!" I realised then that Noah was talking to me.
   "Sorry Noah, what were you saying?" I responded, he frowned.
   "Are you ok Elle? You seem off.." I looked at him in silence for a bit, before telling him that I had an early start today and was really tired.
    "Aww Elle, you should of said. We could of stayed at your place instead of going over to theirs." He picked me up bridal style and continued to carry me until we made it inside his dorm, he put me on his bed.
     Now that we were in his dorm I wasn't tired anymore, but I pretended to be asleep so he wouldnt get suspicious. I pretended for about half an hour until I heard him gently snoring, I looked over and he was fast asleep.
     I got out my phone to see some messages from Colby:

Colby: You up? ;) x
Me: What the hell was that back on the sofa!?
Colby: I wanted to hold your hand silly x
Me: Why? I'm with Noah Colby, I don't see you as anything else.
Colby: I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable Elle, I wasn't thinking straight. Can you forgive me? x

     I thought about it, I knew he was lying about what he was saying but I didn't want to make things awkward.

Me: I'll forgive you on one condition.
Colby: And that is? x
Me: You never attempt anything like that ever again.
Colby: I promise I will never again, night night beautiful x

     I didnt respond, but I'm glad that he wasn't going to attempt anything like that again. I put my phone away, rolled over close to Noah and fell asleep.
