Red Diamond's P.O.V.

FLASH!

I arrived at my destination, or so I thought. I was on this wooden surface that went all along the sand. I saw the temple from where I was.

But I did not move. I instead went the opposite way, away from the temple, as I wanted to explore my surroundings a little bit before meeting up with Steven. I walked and walked until I finally stumbled upon a building. It was a short place, it had this giant O on top of it.

I decided to take a look inside this strange place. I shrunk down to an appropriate size and made my way in.

"Hello, what can I do for you today" said a strange short human. "Hello I was just looking around" I replied. "Oh where are my manners, I'm Sadie" she said as she stretched her arm out. I just looked at it not knowing what to do.

"Uuugghh, are you ok, what's wrong" she asked me concerned. "Oh nothing's wrong it's just I don't know what you are doing" I replied. "Oh well you stretch your hand out like mine, then you shake hands as you say your name" she explained.

"Oh well in that case, hello I am Red Diamond" I said as I shook her hand. I noticed a slightly painful expression on her face. "What's wrong" I asked confused. "Your kinda crushing my hand" she said in slight pain.

"Oh I'm so sorry" I apologized as I quickly let go. I observed her hand to make sure it was alright. "Thanks next time don't use so much strength" she said. "Don't use to much strength got it" I said making a note to myself.

"Well I best be off I have to make my way towards the temple, the little human told me about" I said as I made my way towards the door. "Oh are you talking about Steven" Sadie asked. "Yes I must get going have a nice day it was nice meeting you" I said as I walked out of the strange store. "It was nice meeting you to" she yelled behind me.

I started walking down this strange wooden surface again. Then suddenly a human appeared before me, he was a strange one.

"Hello what are you" he asked me as he held this strange device in his hand. "Ugh who are you exactly" I asked confused. "I'm Ranaldo, now what are you" he asked again.

"I am a gem" I replied still confused as to what this strange human wanted. "What is your name" he asked me. "I am Red Diamond" I said with pride in my name. "Did you come from space" he asked leaning in slightly.

It took me about a minute to come up with an appropriate answer. "Technically yes, I do come from space" I said. "Cool what is it like out there" he asked. "Well I hav—" "are there other sentient life forms out there" he interrupted me. "Well I don't kno—" "ARE THERE SNEPAL" he suddenly yelled leaning in more.

"Ranaldo can you come help me with this" yelled a strange voice from inside the building. "But dad I'm interviewing this— Huh where did you go" he asked confused. "RANALDO" the same voice yelled louder. "Ugh alright dad I'm coming" he said as he left, presumably to go inside and help his dad.

I poked my head out from behind the building I was hiding at. I saw that the strange human had left. I let out a deep sigh.

'No more craziness this lunar cycle' I thought, as I made my way towards the temple. However as I was on my way there I ran into yet another random human. This one however was not as strange as the last one.

"OH NO" the strange human cried out. It looked like she tripped and was able to regain her balance. But I noticed two strange thin boxes falling. I immediately rushed in and grabbed the boxes before they fell. "Here you go" I said as I handed the boxes over to the strange lady.

"Oh thank you, thank you so much" she said as she grabbed the boxes and put them in the back of this strange machine. "Again thanks" she said as she got in the strange machine. "My name is Jenny by the way" she said as she held out her hand.

"Hello I'm Red Diamond" I said as I shook her hand being mindful of my strength. "Well I got to get going, gotta deliver this pizza, maybe we can hang out sometime" she said as she activated the machine and took off. "AND THANKS AGAIN" she yelled as she sped away. "YOU'RE WELCOME" I yelled back watching as she quickly left.

I made my way towards the temple, I eventually arrived at the temple. I was about to enter when I heard this strange recording. This message Rose made to Steven brought tears to my eyes.

"You............you aren't Rose Quartz" said who I believed to be Jasper. I thought this was as good a time as any to make my way inside.

"Exactly" I said as I walked into the temple, all eyes on me after I spoke.

'Well this is going to be a long lunar cycle' I thought, as I stared at the other Gems.
