Ok, I'll admit that I was slightly nervous leaving Techno to go home alone with Kla but as long as Kla used his brain and not something else to think with I guessed Techno was safe.

I'll tell you later if I was right or not!
Hey ...... stop complaining, this is my story and I'm telling it. Unless you're not interested in what happens with me?

***

I was right, I got completely soaked on my way home, I could have taken the bus or grabbed a taxi but honestly walking in the rain gave me time to think.

So much had happened recently that I hadn't really thought about the bigger picture. Yes I knew where I was and what I had to do but surely what I was doing was no better than Tukata with her games. I was playing with people's lives just to get back to my own.
That was a pretty sobering thought, I tried to convince myself that I was doing the right thing, I was stopping Tin from heartbreak and stopping Kla from breaking Techno. It just still made me feel uncomfortable.

There's one problem with thinking too much, you don't always pay attention to what's happening around you and the one thing you should always remember when walking in the rain is that puddles appear and some car drivers don't care if they splash pedestrians as they drive past, now in some countries rain isn't always heavy but in Thailand when it rains it really rains!!

I looked up in time to see a truck heading towards a huge puddle just to the left of me, thankfully I was quick enough to dodge out of the way before it drove through it (one of the perks of playing football is that i'm quick on my feet). I should have stayed where I was because I didn't see the black BMW coming along behind it which sent a wall of dirty water all over me.

"SHIT!!!! HEY ASSHOLE WATCH WHERE YOU'RE DRIVING" I shouted. I was completely soaked. I stood there trying to shake off some of the water, I don't know why I bothered it was a waste of time.

"I'm sorry" came a voice.

I turned and Tin was standing there, what was he doing here?

"Tin! What are you doing here? And why are you saying sorry?" I asked

He looked nervous "umm, I didn't see the puddle"

I looked towards the road and the BMW was parked to the side.

"That was you driving?"

Tin nodded

I raised my voice "Look at me!" I said "I'm soaking wet and dirty because you didn't look where you were going. Next time pay attention to something other than yourself"

"I said I was sorry, please don't be mad" said Tin

"Don't be mad? Are you fucking kidding me?" I was fuming, I started to walk away but Tin grabbed my arm.

"Let me give you a ride back home, I really am sorry" he said

I pulled my arm away. "Get off me ... I don't need a ride home" I said. Why was I so angry, I actually wanted to punch him. How could he be so calm.

"Can .... please, it was an accident, let me take you home" he reached out for my arm again

I'd had enough, I hit his arm out of the way. "Save it, I'm not interested" I started to walk away again then stopped and turned back to Tin "You know what? You're really something, I knew you were a prick but told myself maybe you weren't that bad, I thought if I got to know you more I'd find out that actually you were a decent guy, but obviously I was wrong" I was on a role and just kept going "you think because you're rich, good looking and drive a nice car you can pretend that no one else matters, well I hate to be the one to tell you this but the whole world doesn't revolve around you! You think because you said sorry I have to forgive you? Well that's not going to happen. You seem to enjoy playing games with me and now I'm stood here drenched through and you expect me to accept your apology."
