I'm scared of lions.
I'm scared of their gaping maws,
their wild jaws,
their ferocious bites,
their sharp teeth.I'm scared of their manes,
their majestic beauty,
their luscious form,
and what it hides.I'm terrified of their secrets,
the things they never say,
the motives they never show,
the thoughts they hide.I'm terrified of lions,
because they can look like us.
I'm terrified of lions
because they're just like me.They're just like me.
They're just like me.
They're just like me.
