Jungkook grabbed his bag and slammed the door of his car before locking it. He kept his head down as he walked on the pathway leading to the building containing his class. He couldn't bear to look people in the eye, because the actions caused a bubble of anxiety to creep inside his heart.

Jungkook's behavior and confidence had change drastically since he left high school. In those years, he used to be the popular guy that everyone looked up to. He was the captain of the basketball team, typical, and girls always tried to get his attention.

But as he got into university, the people that used to be his friends proved to be only using him for popularity, nothing more.

Jungkook was left alone, and his confidence gradually dropped.

He often questioned himself, if there was something more to him than his money and status, which had been brought by his parents, really. And a thought slowly occurred to him in the past year.

He had good looks, sure, but there wasn't anything else special about him. Without his parents lineage, he was nothing.

No one around him knew what was going on inside his mind, not even Taehyung. Jungkook lived with this burden alone, not talking to anybody.

Jungkook sat down in a chair at the back of the small auditorium, waiting for the class to begin. The seats around him were slowly filled with students, some of them glancing at Jungkook with resentment. Perhaps it was because everyone knew that the professors had a soft spot for Jungkook since he was one of their best students.

Two hours later, the professor dismissed them with an assignment due for next week, the new making Jungkook groan internally.

The weight of his studies was slowly crushing him, with all the papers and assignments he had to do, he began to wonder if he would make it to the end. The fact that he didn't even want to be a lawyer in the first place didn't help at all.

Since he was young, Jungkook had always liked to take pictures of the world that surrounded him. Of course, he kept his passion hidden from his parents, who would surely make sure he wouldn't touch a camera for the rest of his life.

He listen to the soft music that filled his car, his eyes fixed on the road that stretched in front of him. The apartment building finally came in sight and he parked his car on the side of the street. As he climbed the metallic staircase, Jungkook sighed in relief when he saw the familiar door.

However, he was brutally brought down to reality when he saw Taehyung sitting on the couch with Jimin cuddled to his side, having his pacifier lodged between his lips. Memories of last night's encounter came back to him, and his mood dropped.

Taehyung noticed Jungkook closing the door of the apartment, and a frown appeared on his features. He too, hadn't forgot what happened, and remembered all too well the sadness that had filled Jimin's eyes after hearing Jungkook's harsh words.

Jungkook let out a simple 'Hey', secretly hoping Taehyung would greet him back, but had no such luck. As usual, he removed his shoes and placed them neatly on the mat, but instead of dropping on the couch, he made a bee line to his room with his bag hanging on his shoulder.

He let himself fall on his bed after putting his bag on top of his desk. He dragged his hands down his face and exhaled loudly.

Tears started cascading down his cheeks, a small sob escaping his thin lips as the events that had piled themself up came crashing down. He felt so lonely, without his parents' support and his lack of friends. Sure, he was acquainted with Yoongi, but the two of them never had time to meet up and were occasionally asking each other how they were doing.

And there was Taehyung, his roommate. They had grew considerably closer, but what happened last night made the two of them drift apart, and Jungkook would be lying if he said he didn't feel hurt when Taehyung didn't acknowledged him.

So, not knowing any other way to chase his sorrows away, cried his heart out into his pillow to make sure his sobs weren't heard.

At the same time, in the living room of the apartment, Taehyung grabbed a hold of the remote and shut the TV off, causing the little beside him to whine in disappointment.

"B-But TaeTae! Plwease~, Jiminie will be good!" Taehyung shook his head, knowing that his best friend was tired.

"No buts, I already let you watch TV thirty minutes more than usual. It's bath time now." Again, Jimin was about to protest when he saw the stern look in Taehyung's eyes, silencing him immediately.

Jimin made grabby hands towards Taehyung, hoping he would comply to his silent demand. And he did, smiling as he grabbed the little by his armpits and, with much difficulty, hoisted him up on his hip.

After what felt like an eternity for Taehyung, the two of them finally entered the bathroom and the former caregiver placed Jimin on the toilet for the time being. Taehyung began to run the bath and asked the little to start removing his clothes.

Eventually Taehyung had to help him out of his onesie because Jimin couldn't seem to be able to get his arms out, but the latter finally sat down in the tub, now filled with warm water.

The younger began to rub a cloth with soap on Jimin's arms, while the little played with a rubber duck and made peculiar sounds with his mouth to imitate the toy. Some might wonder why Yoongi, Jimin's boyfriend and caregiver, allowed Taehyung to see Jimin naked and wash him. Well, it was simply because Taehyung was Jimin's best friend, and it was common knowledge that Taehyung only saw the older as a brother.

Besides, since Taehyung had been Jimin's caregiver in the past, he knew all about the latter's behavior while in his headspace, and it was much more easier to take care of him that way.

As Taehyung poured water on top of the little's hair to wash of the shampoo, the younger's thoughts went back to Jungkook. A sigh escaped his lips.

Since they knew each other, Jungkook had never act that way around his hyung, always being his shy, reserved self. He was still really disappointed with the younger's behavior last night, but he couldn't help but wonder if his outburst was provoked by something else.

However, Taehyung was pulled back to reality when Jimin had thrown some water on him, giggles spilling out of his mouth. He only chuckled before continuing to wash him, forgetting about his previous train of thoughts.
