These past few days in LA have been amazing. I don't know what changed but I've just been having a good time with good people. Chris has been extra careful not to piss me off and Branden has been working hard to perfect his craft. I'm so sad that the shit is ending soon. Like I don't want to go home and wait tables. I want to stay out here and have fun. But money is running low and a bitch gotta go."Good morning D.", Branden said as he came downstairs.
I smiled at him and got back on my phone. I was now booking my flight for tomorrow so that I could get back in time for my shift.
"What time do you have to leave?", Branden asked.
"3 in the morning.", I said. He nodded his head and displayed a sad expression on his face.
"What's wrong?", I asked.
"I just don't want you to leave, there are so many opportunities out here and I know you're gonna be back home miserable.", he said.
"I know there is a lot of opportunity out here but if it was meant for me to start my career now I would've gotten picked during the audition process. Obviously Chris and his people didn't think I was good enough. Which is fine. Maybe there are some things I have to work on." I shrugged.
"So when I get back home I'll train harder and maybe another opportunity with someone else will come up.", I said.
"Yea I hear you I guess." he said.
I just shook my head. Honestly everyone was making it harder for me to leave because they were telling me how much they would miss me. But I don't have it like that to be taking long ass vacations when I want. I needed to go get some money and I was missing my best friend like crazy.
"Hey Della. What's wrong why you look so damn sad?", Chris asked.
"I'm not sad", I said.
"Well your face says other wise but okay.", he said as he sat next to me.
"So what are we getting into today. I was thinking we go to the movies then the arcade and tomorrow we can go on Rodeo Drive and go out to eat-.", he said.
"Wait you know I leave tomorrow, right?", I said cutting him off.
His face went from excited to disappointed.
"No you don't leave tomorrow. I thought you left next week.", he said.
I shook my head.
"Oh.", he said.
"Oh, that's all he can say.", I thought.
We just sat in silence until Chris eventually got up and went into the kitchen.
I guess he was mad or something but I didn't have time to deal with his attitude. I needed to pack and enjoy my last hours here while I could. I ran upstairs to finish packing and to pick out my outfit for the rest of the day. I decided on a cute two piece Fashion Nova leggings set and some slides.
Then I finished cleaning up the guest room and hopped in the shower. After I was done all my hygiene things, I got dressed and went down stairs to the pool of laughter I heard.
Once I entered the living room. I seen Chris, Mijo, Branden, Hood and some girls. One was dressed like a man. So, I knew she wasn't fucking any of them and the other was dressed really nicely.
"Heyyy Della!!", Mijo yelled over all the commotion that soon died down once he said my name.
I smiled and gave him a hug.
Hood greeted me, and Branden, Chris and the two girls just looked at me.
"Oh shit. Red this is Della. Della meet Red.", Mijo said as he introduced me to the girl that was dressed like a guy.
