After leaving Prussia to get some more sleep, Y/n looked for something to do. She gave herself a tour around the house, and luckily all the bedrooms were labelled in print and braille, so she didn't have to snoop around to figure out who's was who's. All three of the bedrooms were upstairs, and downstairs was the living room, kitchen and the other basic rooms. It was a pretty simple house, but at least she wouldn't be getting lost anytime soon.

When she passed Austria-Hungary's room, the door was open. He was sitting in front of a radio. Light jazz played from it, and he looked relaxed and focused on the music. Y/n contemplated wether or not to say hello while standing practically in the doorway.

"I know you're there, Y/n." Austria-Hungary said with a smile. Oh crap.. "Oh yeah, I-I was about to say hi." She tried to pass it off and AH chuckled. "It's alright."

She walked in and sat down next to him, still a bit nervous from that. "Do you like music?" He asked. "Yeah."

"What about this kind? Do you want me to change it?" His hand trailed over the buttons and knobs. "It's okay." She didn't exactly have a favourite music genre, and this music wasn't bad to her. They sat and listened in contempt.

"The Russian Empire bought me this radio a while back. He taught me what the buttons did and I got used to where they are."

Austria-Hungary thought back to the Christmas he got it, and how frustrating it was at the beginning, with all of the buttons.  And now he never needed help with troubleshooting.

"Aw, how nice of him." Y/n replied, leaning back all the way in the chair.

"I really like music. I'm grateful he bought it for me, and that I still have hearing. Sure, it would be amazing to have vision, but I'm happy with the way it turned out."

Y/n sat in awe of how wonderful that was, and realised she wasn't grateful enough for the things she had.

"Of course I didn't have that mentality at first, I was angry and furious that it was me who turned out this way and not someone else, when I was younger. I like to think that this radio was one of my turning points to acceptance."

From the relaxing music and.. semi comfortable chair, Y/n felt the drowsiness come over her, but not in a threatening way like it usually did. It was even more comforting now. She leaned on Austria-Hungary and he was fine with it. He could tell when and when not she was asleep from her breathing and such. It was actually nice to not be completely alone with his thoughts for once.

Not much longer, the Russian Empire poked his head in. "Austria-Hungary, do you happen to know where Miss Y/n-" he was cut off by the sight. "Oh. I was going to take her shopping, but.." he said in a now whispery voice.

AH nodded and gently shook the sleeping girl's shoulder. Y/n woke up and rubbed her eyes to see him there.

"I was wondering if you'd like to go out, Miss Y/n." He said respectfully.

Her eyes widened. And then his did too, as he realised what just came out of his mouth. "Oh no- not- not like- I mean-" He tried to mentally recollect himself and get his formal persona back.

"I meant to go shopping for clothes and things, things that we don't have and you need, you know because.. you're not a guy." The Russian tried to explain while gesturing with his hands. He bit his lip and his cheeks went red for the first time in a while. He really screwed this up.

Y/n was a mess too. "Oh yeah.. that's a good idea actually.." Austria-Hungary Inhaled through his teeth. "Off you go, then."

They walked out without saying a word, the Russian Empire mentally scolding himself for that.

Prussia saw them leaving and jumped up. "Where are you going?"

"To- go shopping." The Russian said a bit harshly.

The German raised an eyebrow. "Go shopping? What are you buying? Do you really need to bring her to buy food or som-"

"We're buying THINGS." He almost shouted.

"Just let us go." Y/n pleaded.

"Oh- ohhhhh. Oh, that? Yeah ok I'll let the Russian Empire handle that. Ha!" The Russian hid his face in his hands and Y/n felt herself dying inside.

When they got to the car, he let out a deep breath. "I am so sorry."

She nodded in understanding from the passenger's seat. "Let's just get this over with."

At the shops, the Russian let her pick out whatever and didn't follow her anywhere out of fear that he would look strange. She picked out nice outfits, but made sure they didn't cost too much because she'd feel guilty...

"Hey Russia," she said, tugging on his sleeve and pointing to the 69¢ price tag on a candy bar, "Nice."

...and of course she got all the other stuff she needed. They left the stores with bagfuls of stuff. They pushed the final cart down to the car and started to unload it all into the trunk. "I got it, you can wait in the car." Mr. Gentleman offered.

Before long, they were back at the house. "Hey, thanks for buying all this stuff for me. I feel bad." She smiled and hugged him. That was the first time they ever hugged.

He rubbed the back of his neck. "It's quite alright.."

"You learned British English, didn't you?"

Prussia ran down the stairs. "Welcome home. Holy crap that's a lot of stuff." He gazed at all the bags, "Where are you keeping all of this?"

He raised his eyebrows and smirked. "I mean, you can always keep it in my room, I have extra space in the drawers~"

"Nope. You're a perv. I won't allow her stuff so easy for you to look through." The Russian Empire immediately decided.

"Oh, frick you."

The Russian got a stern look. "...What did you just say to me, Mister?"

Despite him being serious, Y/n couldn't help giggling at them. Prussia's childlike behaviour and and the Russian getting offended was just too good. And when Prussia got wide eyed in fear she fell into a giggling fit. Both pairs of eyes were on her now, and they both couldn't help smiles creep on their face at how cute she was.

"Alright.." she said, calming down, "I'll keep my stuff in Prussia's room.. in a different dresser. How does that sound?"

The boys nodded at each other. "I wasn't actually gonna look through her stuff, you know. It was a joke."

"Oh, sure it was."
