Dancing with the Butlers enemy

Everyone was enjoying theirselves, they danced and smiled as the sound of laughter began to fill the room.

Johnathen began to walk towards me. He held his hand out to me and I politely rejected it.

"I would if I could dance, the only dancing I know of isn't the type of dance you will do in front of a family gathering!" I chuckled.

He smirked at me and took my hand, "Well it won't hurt for you to learn it today!"

He pulled me gently to the middle of the floor. Placing a hand on my hip and the other holding my other hand, he began to move slowly.

Once I got a bit accustomed to the dancing, we began to pick up speed. My face was neutral but he could feel that I was completely enjoying myself.

"Why don't you ever smile? You are a wonderful individual, so smile." He said.

"I can't, I don't know how to smile anymore," I replied.

I looked away from him as he smiled. He twirled me around and caught me, making me pause. He lifted my face up and stared into my blue eyes.

His emerald eyes sparkled like the moon reflecting of water. His face was getting closer and closer. My eyes widened as he became closer. Mey-Rin and Finny bumped into us, making him let go.

I stood straight up as Mey and Finny began to apologise.
"No it's okay, I am fine," I said.

I saw Sebastian turn around and walked back to the kitchen.
Ciel walked up to the top of the steps.

"My sister's birthday party will be ending now, I hope you all enjoyed the party!!" He shouted.

Ciel and Sebastian stood by the door, thanking everyone for coming.

I watched from the stairs. John walked up towards me, "Well, it seems that I have to go, I will take you back home with me some other day, okay!"

"Yeah, I will be looking forward to that day," I said standing up.

He gave me a hug and I patted his back, "thanks for coming!"

"Don't mention it, I wouldn't miss your party for the world!" he replied.

He left out the door smirking at Sebastian, I began to walk up the stairs to my chamber.

Getting undress I had a mini-flashback of almost being kissed by the man who treated me well. I fold up my dress neatly and placed it on the end of my bed.

Loosening up my corset I pulled it off, letting out a huge sigh of relief. I went into the closet and grabbed a night dress and slid it on.

I slid into bed, wrapping my body into the fresh blankets and pillows. A knock came at my door.

"Come in!" I shouted sitting up.
The door slowly creaked open as a gloved hand was revealed.

Sebastian walked in my room, shutting the door back. He placed a candle on my bedside table.

"Did you enjoy the party?" Sebastian asked.

I nodded, "Sebastian, earlier today, you pushed Mey and Finny over to us, didn't you?" I asked.

He sat on the end of my bed, "If you assume that I did, I can not argue with you," he replied.

"He was going to kiss me, I didn't know what to do, and the fact that I was clueless, made me a bit angry!"

He reached under my bed to retrieve a box. I watched as he did. He handed me the box.

"What's this?" I asked.
"A present from me, hope you enjoy," he said.
