I woke up today, energy pounding through my veins. I am going to get that girl to be my... well...Rose. Speaking of which, after breaking my heart, she still hasn't talked to me. Yesterday, I talked to the new girl, and she seemed introverted and shielded away from making friends. I also didn't ask her what her name is. Great. We can be friends without knowing each others' names you know. Cue the eye roll. It would work out perfectly.

The only reason why I decided to be friends with this mystery girl is that something about her strikes me as someone who could help me. Someone who I could rely on.

Luckily, it isn't raining today so I am able to walk to school and listen to music in peace. No pouring rain annoying me to death today! Once I get there, I see the girl. This time I'm confident, and won't let her unwillingness to stop me.

"Hello, would you like me to show you around the school?" I ask confidently. She ignores me equally as confidently, if not any more.

I take a deep breath. "Look... whatever your name is, I've been through way too much to give in to people like you. I'm trying to be nice to you since you're new and all, but you're making it extremely difficult for me. Please just listen to me for once, and I promise you'll never get into one of those nasty fistfights again." She finally looks up.

"WHAT? You have been constantly annoying me this entire week, just leave me alone. I don't care what you've been through, or what petty friendship issues you have. So go express your intense frustration about me to everybody else, because that seems to be what EVERYONE is doing these days! Please just go away. I want to be alone!" her last words are filled with agony. What has she been through, to be able to act like this?
