"Red? Little Red?" Wysteria hears the nickname and a memory jolts through her of a boy with a toothy grin and shaggy hair. She turns slowly. Behind her is a lanky guy with hair almost as long as hers, if not longer. His head is tilted slightly in di...

Wysteria didn't hear from Bella for a week. Well, they texted but Bella's responses were clipped, and few and far between and she didn't mention anything else about the Cullen's or vampires or anything of that sort. Wysteria was relieved. Maybe Bella had just been really tired and slightly paranoid. Wysteria understood that. She still hated the way all her teachers and the adults around town looked at her, like she shouldn't be there. Like she was dangerous. A girl sleepwalks once and suddenly she's a bad influence. Since Wysteria was actually talking to Bella in some form, she wasn't too worried about her friend or her confrontation with Edward. Maybe he had laughed and told her to stop listening to Quileute stories. Maybe he told her his families version of history, explained what it all meant. Wysteria only became worried on Friday as the final bell rung at school, signaling the end of the day, when she began to get a call from Alice Cullen.
"Hey do you want to.." Jacob started to ask as he shoved his notebook into his backpack. Wysteria held up one finger to pause him.
"Hold that thought." She answered the phone. "Hey Alice." Wysteria said. Jacob frowned at her so Wysteria turned away.
"Hello Mysteria Wysteria. Would you like to come over to our house this weekend with Bella? Meet the whole family?"
"Bella." Wysteria said. "Uhh yeah sounds like fun. What would we be doing?"
"Not much. Bella and Edward will probably be together for the most part but we'll eat dinner and you and I can hangout."
"Yeah that sounds good. What time?"
"Wysteria." Jacob said lowly, trying to get her attention. Wysteria waved him away as everyone began to file out of the room. Jacob scoffed.
"Edward said he was going to pick Bella up at five so if you want to just be at Bella's house when he gets there he can give you a ride to our place."
"You sure I shouldn't try sleepwalking there again?" Alice laughed.
"No, please don't try that. You could get hurt this time." Wysteria smiled lightly.
