"Man, you gotta slow down. Can't run in school, you should know this edwardo." laughed richie as eddie flung himself into richie's arms after fourth period.
"Fuck you." Eddie said clinging onto richie's shirt watching for potential attackers, his eyes darting everywhere
"Was it really that bad?" asked richie draping his arm over the shorter boys shoulders and beginning to walk them off to the cafeteria.
"Yeah, pretty much." eddie started "i don't wanna talk about it rich... please just say something stupid so I can forget."
"Wow jeez man is that all I am to you? Men aren't objects eddie, when will you learn. Goddamn it eddith when will you learn!" said richie in a accent, eddie didn't really care enough to try and place it
"I take that back, quiet richie is my favorite." Said Eddie smiling and pushing into richie's side further
"Ah, you love it eds." said richie looking down at the small boy, noticing how each freckle kissed his skin with so much precision richie wondered why the world dosn't stop and stare every time the boy smiles.
"Don't call me eds, rich." eddie say shouldering richie playfully, richie could tell eddie loved it though.
The rest of the day went by like a dream, just like the old days. With stolen glances in the middle of class where neither of them knew what they meant or what they wanted, secret whispers and soft touches.
"I'll see you tomorrow eds" Richie said letting go of eddies hand, he could tell neither of them wanted to let go.
"Don't be late." said eddie sitting down against a wall watching richie get into his camaro
"Aw eds, you know me. I'm never late!"
