"It's okay Atem, a lot has changed. it's understandable that you would be upset over it." But I'm glad you enjoyed our duels as well." Kaiba gave him a gentle smile.

".....So did you only come back to become Pharaoh, to beat me, or is there another reason?" He questioned not sure of his motives.

"I didn't plan on becoming Pharaoh, that just kinda happened, as for my reasons on being here here....I don't know if it's because I wanted a duel or if I just needed to see you, but you are the reason I'm here Atem.

Atem studied him to see if He was lying when he saw no lie He just shook his head. "Idiot you have a really bad way of showing you want to see someone." He smiled as he said it though.
// Mine/Kaiba's POV //
Seeing Atem smile made him smile as well. "I suppose you're right in that sense, But it's good to see you smile."

"You are a wonder Seto Kaiba. A wonder indeed." He confirmed.

He chuckled. "Why do you say that?" He inquire.

"Cause you suck at showing your emotions....which makes me wonder....did you miss me as a friend...or is there more to it?" He smirked.

He titled his head slightly and hummed. "I don't know.....maybe a little but of both."

"Well believe it or not, I would not mind if it was more than just friendship." He admitted with a sigh.

He raised an eyebrow. "Really now? Well alright then." He said rather matter-of-factly. Kaiba leaned forwards towards Atem putting his elbows on his knees and his chin on his folded fingers.

"Yes really, don't make me say it again." He said heating up, feeling Kaiba closer to him.

He smirked at Atem's blush. "You know you're cute when you blush."

His face grew to be bright red. "I am anything but cute."

"Shut up!" He says moving his plate to the side so He could lay his head in his arms.

"Is that such a bad thing? Is it so unbelievable that I could like you in such a way?" He questioned.
