After a while, Fujimaru and her servants find an empty fortress. They take a look at their surroundings assessing the situation.

"It looks to be an abandoned fort." Mash speak. "Let's rest here for now." She suggests.

"It looks like a great idea considering that Siegfried's is still wounded right now." Fujimaru agrees.

Jeanne looks at Siegfried before she turns to Marie, "How is Siegfried's wound?"

"My Noble Phantasm can heal wounds, just a bit. But not this one, it seems."

"...lt looks like some kind of curse." Sieg interrupts.

"Let just go inside first," Fujimaru said and everyone starts entering the fortress.

Suddenly Jeanne stop.

"What's wrong?" Ask Mash.

She shook her head, "No, it's nothing. You guys go ahead. I'm going to check the surrounding. I just want to make sure that this place is safe."

"Be careful," Mash said before she enters the fort with everyone else.

In the distance, our protagonist, (Y/n) saw this. Still hiding his presence from the group.  "So the Dragon Witch is splitting from the rest. She must be going to patrol the area for a bit."

(Y/n) saw Jeanne enter the forest and disappear from his sight. (Y/n) look around making sure that it saves to move. "No one's around... good. Time to move."

He slowly makes his way inside the fortress before he suddenly feels something touches his back. He then stops.

"So you're the one who's following us." A voice said from behind him. "You really good at hiding your presence."

(Y/n) raised both his hand in surrender, "Yeah, but not good enough. I'm surprised that you managed to sense me... Witch." (Y/n) then slowly turn around to see Jeanne who's pointing her weapon at him.

"Witch!? Why you call me that?" Jeanne ask.

"Well, isn't that what those people call you?"

Jeanne sigh, "I'm not the Dragon Witch that they think I am. It was someone else."

"Someone else? How can they have mistaken you for someone else?" (Y/n) confused.

"Well... how to say this. It was me, but not me. It was my other self."

"Your other self?"

She nods, "Yeah... it's a little complicated... But that's not what important right now. Why you here?"

"Don't worry. I don't have any bad intention." (Y/n) drops his hands.

Jeanne inspects him for a while before deciding to drop her guard, "I don't sense any bad from you. But still, it doesn't answer who you are and why you're following us."

"I guess you and I start at the wrong foot here." (Y/n) extends his hand, "I'm (Y/n) Lucis Caelum. Call me (Y/n)."

Jeanne hesitantly takes his hand to shake, "I'm Jeanne d'Arc. You can call me Jeanne."

"Jeanne d'Arc? So, you must be the saint that they're talking about."

"You know me?"

"No, I'm not. I just heard your name before."

"That's weird. You fight for Gilles army but you did not know who I am. I thought every France soldier at least heard of me." Jeanne wonder.

"Well... how to say this. I'm not with Gilles and I'm not with the French army. Let's just said that Gilles asked me for a favor to help those soldiers. Just that, nothing more."
