Dustin collapsed beside you on the soft, beige couch in the living room of your shared house. You had had the morning off, meaning you had no plans other than sitting on the couch, drinking coffee, and watching Doctor Who.
"What are you watching?" He questioned, putting his arm around you as you snuggled into his side, putting half of the blanket over his lap.
"Doctor Who," you answer, putting your head on his shoulder, his fingers already in your hair.
"What's that?" He slowly slid your coffee cup out of your hand, taking a drink from it before handing it back to you. You just stared at him in shock.
"You are telling me that you, the biggest nerd I know, has never seen Doctor Who?" He just blankly stared back.
"Yeah. What is it?" He had genuinely no idea. He was puzzled by the look of disgust and shock on your face.
"It's a sci-fi show about an alien who travels through time and space, saving planets with his companions," you explain, setting the show back to episode one. The two of you sat snuggling through two episodes until your phone alarm went off, telling you to go get ready for work.
You quickly got dressed and left for work, kissing Dustin's lips before running out, not even noticing what he was watching.
Later that evening, you walked back into the house, only being greeted by Ernie and not your beautiful boyfriend. You scratched behind Ernie's ear, looking around the entryway for his owner.
"Where's Daddy?" You asked the sweet dog. He continued to dance around you, keeping your attention before bolting off into the living room. You followed the dog to see Dustin sitting on the couch in the same position that you had left him in, his eyes trained still on Doctor Who. You giggled, leaning against the doorframe.
He was so cute, his attention zeroed in on Rose and Nine. Ernie jumped up on the couch next to him, getting Dustin to at least scratch his head gently as he continued to watch. You smiled, setting your bag down and walking over behind the couch. You lean down, wrapping your arms around his neck from behind. You rest your chin on his shoulder, watching with him.
"Dustie, is this what you've done all day?" You question, leaning in to kiss his soft neck.
"Yup," he answered, putting his free hand on your arm, gently rubbing it. You continued to kiss his neck.
"I asked Ernie where Daddy was and he came right in here. He's such a good boy." Your hand trails down his chest, rubbing softly.
"Oh, call me that again," he begged, leaning into your arms. You smile.
"What? Daddy?" Now you were teasing him.
"Call me that again and I'll make you a mommy." He was catching on.
"You wouldn't dare." You gently bit his neck, wanting him to have fun with you.
"You're right. I want to finish this season tonight." He pulled you over the back of the couch, causing you to yelp as he pulled you down on top of him. You kicked off your shoes and laid your head on his chest, relaxing against him.
That's how you fell asleep, hands resting on his soft body, and his arms wrapped around your waist, holding you to him. However, you woke up in a different position. Dustin's body was shaking as he cried.
"Oh, baby, what's wrong?" You asked, shifting so you were holding him, trying to comfort him.
"This is so sad," he cried. You followed his eyes, noticing he was on the last episode of the season. You started laughing, still holding him and running your fingers through his hair.
"It'll be okay, honey. It's okay," you laughed. He buried his head in your neck, continuing to cry over Rose and The Doctor. After it was over, you hit for season two to play before falling back to sleep.

Domestic Bliss (Dustin Bates)
FanfictionPretty much just little blurps of being in a relationship with Dustin Bates. Fluff. A little bit of bad stuff. I blame Taylor for 98% of this book. Enjoy, my little hoes.
