"hey hobi." yoongi greeted, sitting down in front of his best friend.

he placed his lunchbox on the table, looking over at hoseok and scoffing. the younger's eyes were glued to the table, hands fumbling. constantly gripping and regripping his pants. "what's with you?"

"he's dead because of you." hoseok spoke, voice barely above a whisper.

"what?" yoongi put his chopsticks down and looked up a hoseok who was now standing.

"i never said anything. i just stood by and let it happen. god, i s-should have said something!" hoseok was on the verge of tears now.

suddenly he slammed his fists against the table, drawing the attention of the surrounding students. "why didn't i say something?!"

"i can't help but think!"hoseok cried. "if i had stepped in, if-if i had stopped you this wouldn't have happened! he'd still be here!" yoongi hadn't seen him freak out like this before. "but i didn't! and now he's gone!"

"hobi where are you going?" yoongi stood as the younger stood shakily and began to walk away, his lunch abandoned.

"anywhere away from you." hoseok whispered.

yoongi watched as he walked away. "fine! I don't need you! I don't need anybody!"

he felt like he was drowning under the weight of everyone's eyes. the cafeteria was eerily silent. yoongi hated it.

"what are you all looking at? huh?" he plopped back down into his seat, packing away his lunch, his appetite long gone.

a few minutes later, a girl walked by table and 'accidentally' spilled her soda all over him, scurrying off before he could do anything. as bells began to ring people walked past yoongi's table, each taking turns throwing their trash at him. he grabbed his lunchbox and backpack and left the lunchroom.

"hey min! why don't you do the world a huge favor and kill yourself?" someone snickered.

yoongi's eyes widened, memories flooding back into his brain like a tsunami.

"hey, park! why don't you do the world a favor and kill yourself?" he'd laughed along with the other students.

he grabbed jimin by his shirt and kneed him in the stomach as the students surrounding him laughed, hoseok standing behind yoongi. jimin fell to his knees, face blank before tears started to run down the boy's cheeks.

"aww look!" a girl, the soda girl, fake cooed. "jimin's gonna cry" she pouted before bursting out in laughter.

"aww jimin don't cryyyy!"

tears dribbled down soft, round cheeks.

the students started laughing harder as jimin stood. "i-i can't take this anymore!" he cried and ran out of the school.

he didn't show up for the rest of the week.

yoongi felt a punch to his jaw, he fell to the ground and curled into a ball as he began getting kicked repeatedly.

"murderer."

"worthless."

"bully."

yoongi heard these things as the boys continued to beat him. he began to cry. not because it hurt but because the realization just struck him.

"everyone hates you! why are you still here you waste of oxygen?!"

he'd bullied jimin since freshman year, each year getting progressively worse. yoongi looked over, he could see jimin's locker from here. there was a picture of him hugging a younger boy who looked a lot like him. his brother.

yoongi had only just then realized everything jimin would never get to do. go to prom, graduate, go to college, travel the world, get married, have kids. yoongi had taken that all away from him.

not to mention. he took someone's son away, someone's big brother, someone's boyfriend and friend.

yoongi has only just realized everything he'd done to jimin. it took jimin till senior year to break. this only left yoongi with one question.

how long will it take until I break?
