#18 Work For It
>Anything worth having is worth working for. If you want something you have put in the work to get it. Most of the things we want most will require the most work but that is what makes them worth wanting. Certain things are special because it takes hard work to achieve them.
>You reap what you sow. The more effort you put into something, the more you benefit from it. Working really hard might not interest you but it is necessary if you want something in return.
>Work for what it is you want. Don't rely on other people to give you something or to put the work in for you. If you want something go for it, work for it, don't give up on it. Working for something and getting what you want from your hard work is better than being handed something anyway.
>Work for your future. Working for things as a teenager isn't always fun but it will contribute to the future you want to have. If you have a goal, a dream or an aspiration then working for it is the way to get there.
>Being the best you can be involves work. To be the best version of you that you can be means to work hard. To try your best means to work as hard as you can, it is irrelevant what this equals to as long as you are trying your hardest.

Hi,
Sorry this is so short. Most of this is self explanatory so there wasn't much to say.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter. The next chapter will be a little different so I hope you will make sure to read it :)
Thanks for reading,
Jess

P.S. I chose My Girl by The Temptations because I have loved this song for a very long time. It has nothing to do with the chapter but it means a lot to me personally and I wanted to include it.
