#20 Goodbye Adolescence

Hi,

This is more of a note than a chapter because I just really want to thank everyone for reading(400 Reads!), for commenting and voting. It all means so much to me and I am truly grateful.

I've had an incredible birthday today and I just feel so happy.

As I said in the last chapter I will be continuing with this book so keep watching for updates and feel free to suggest topics that you want covered.

I'm officially 20 and, although I don't really feel different, I'm excited to be entering a new phase. Adolescence is over, that is good because it did sometimes suck but also bad because it was fun and it was where I did all my growing up. That being said, I'm pretty sure I have more growing to do but I'm now doing that as an adult.

Now I have completely passed through adolescence I just want to remind you to try to be happy. Be happy with the person you are, be happy with the choices you make, be happy with the way you spend your time, be happy with the people in you life, be happy because life's just too short to be sad. Its not always easy to be happy but a lot of the time it is less work than being sad.

Thanks again lovely friends, I'll be back here soon :)

P.S. I don't generally have favourites, I choose all the colours, all the flavours and all the music. Sounds greedy but I just can't chose. I would chose my favourite song to go here but I really don't have one, the closest I would get is Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel because that is one of the songs I love the most. For this chapter I decided, therefore, to go with my favourite song of today. My favourite song on my 20th birthday isn't particularly meaningful or special, I might not love it in ten years but it represents today and what I liked so I'm picking it. It's Leave The Night On by Sam Hunt, it's really fun to sing along to :)
