Levi's P.O.V

Once I reached my school I came to a stop and took a second to catch my breath before opening the doors and confidently striding the halls even though I was drenched and exhausted. I reached my class and made my way towards the only unoccupied seat which happened to be located by a window at the back of the room and next to....

I was slightly surprised when I stared at the guy who was staring straight back at me, the strange thing was that I couldn't remember who he was, even though I felt like I've seen him before.

He was undoubtedly handsome but the fact that his icy blue eyes seemed to see right through me got me squirming uncomfortably under his gaze.

Realizing that the class had started, I hastily made my way to the seat and sat down, trying to concentrate on the lesson instead of the guy next to me who was still burning a hole through the side of my head with that intense gaze of his.

I was uncomfortably fidgiting throughout the whole class and counting the minutes until the end of this dreadfully awkward hour. Every now and then I would steal a quick glance at him to check if he was still staring, and yet every time I did so my eyes locked with his own.

Sighing, I decided to look out of the window which was on my left, giving up on trying to figure out what the teacher was lecturing about. Knowing that it wasn't going to do me any good anyway for the mysterious person next to me made it seem like he was never going to take his eyes off me.

I focused on the scenery outside through the window, and noticed it had started to rain again. The rain was gently falling onto the already wet concrete ground, forming small puddles and the peaceful sounds it caused had my eyes slowly drift closed.

.........

"..vi, Levi"

I turned my head around, trying to soften the hard pillow underneath my head.

"Levi!"

I furrowed my brows, eyes still closed, and mumbled to the annoying voice I was hearing, "ugh, five more minutes mum".

"Wake up!"

A thought ran through my mind as I remembered I was at school! My head shot up and my eyes flew open, a bit too quick as my head started to throb, but I was paying no attention to that, as I looked around at all the amused faces of my classmates before staring straight at the person who had woken me up.

I felt heat rise to my cheeks as I guiltily lowered my head, avoiding my teachers hard glare as he stood in front of my desks with his arms folded.

"Levi, care to explain why you were sleeping during half of my lesson?"
Mr Mathews asked as I shamefully peered up at his through my eye lashes.

"Sorry sir, I seemed to have fallen asleep, it won't  happen again sir." I apologized quietly.

"It better not Mr Jones, you're already in your last year and I would hate to have you asleep instead of paying attention" he remarked then strode off to his desk just as the bell rang.

I hurriedly stood from my desk and packed up my things before turning around to leave, and I was about to do so when a cold hand latched onto my arm. My eyes fell on the hand before following up the persons sleeved arm, silently praying it wasn't who I dreaded it to be. I guess luck was really on my side today as my eyes once again locked with the icy cold ones of the mysterious boy next to me.

After what felt like hours but were only a few mere minutes, he finally spoke, and goodness his voice was as cold and distant as his eyes. "Hi, my name is Eren, what's yours beautiful?"

My mouth hung agape as my mind fogged up, 'did he just call me beautiful?' I thought to myself, 'I must've heard it wrong' I reassured myself, suddenly he let out a soft chuckle, staring at my mouth that still hung open.

I quickly closed it before clearing my throat and sticking my hand out and answering, "I'm Levi, nice to meet you".

There was a short pause as he stared at my hand, then he took it and brought it up to his lips and pressed a kiss on my knuckles, then he leaned in until his lips grazed my ear and gently whispered "it's nice to meet you too."

After that he turned around smirking and made his way out the door along with the rest of the remaining students apart from me.

I just stood there staring at the door that he had just casually walked out of, a million questions in my head, ' why did he do that?, I'm not even gay, how come I had never noticed him before?, was he new?, does he know me?.' I asked myself shaking them off before walking out and to my next class.

But one question remained,

'who is that mysterious guy?'.
