Levi's P.O.V

My morning classes went by fast, and I hadn't seen the mysterious boy named Eren ever since first period, it's like he just vanished into thin air. I had even asked some of my classmates if they had seen him, but everyone I asked had claimed that they don't know anything of a boy named Eren, in fact they haven't even heard of a new person in our math class.

When the bell went, signalling then start of lunch, I made my way out of the classroom in a daze. How could they not have noticed Eren? Not to mention he was sitting beside me all of first period! I finally reached my locker and looked around noticing that the halls were empty.

I opened it up to take out my books, when something caught my eye. There stashed at the back of my locker was a neatly placed piece of paper with a red rose next to it.

I took the paper and gasped in shock as I read each neatly written word, taking the time to let the beautiful poem sink in:

Dear Levi,

You're a gift

A wild flower in the rain

A wild child with stains

Sometimes imperfect

Sometimes unclean

But so shiny underneath

You are glistening

Are you listening

You're a gift

And oh how I wish

I'll no longer hide

But I fear I cannot

So for now keep in mind

That for you my love

I'll willingly die

I'll always be forever by your side

Until the day our fate arrives

So wait for me my dear

We'll be together

So you shall not fear

love from..heh you'll find out soon sweetheart

My eyes widened in shock, who on earth was this inscrutable person!
I thought for a second completely zoning out as I wondered if it could've been the same person that had texted me.

I slightly jumped in shock as I felt arms wind themselves around my waist, and instantly my body relaxed, knowing exactly who it was.

"Alex! How many times have I told you not to do that?, you scared me!"

I complained, shoving the poem into my book bag then turning myself around in her arms and staring straight into her warm blue eyes, that were surprisingly filled to the brim with tears.

"Alex, what's wrong?"

I asked softly, gently tucking the stray strands of her hair away from her sad eyes.

*sob*

Suddenly she started crying, resting her head on the crook of my neck, while balling her eyes out. (Being as short as I was, 5.6 feet or 170cm, meant that we were both the same height).

As Alex cried I gently rubbed soothing circles onto her back, while whispering sweet nothings into her ear. After a while she stopped crying and lifted her head up to look me in the eyes.
