Chapter 13- The night club

Two weeks passed since Yugi lived with Yami in his mansion, he started receiving a private tutor by Yami as promised to help him with his college education.

One of the tudors came from the university where Yugi used to go.

"Okay Yugi, that's enough for today. We'll start on tomorrow's lesson before you go to work." He said.

"Yes sir, thank you." Yugi said.

"Thank you for coming here to tutor Yugi Mr. Kawano." Yami said.

"No problem, I'm coming back here tomorrow morning to tutor Yugi some more before he goes to work." He said.

"Yes, of course." Yami said as he walked Mr. Kawano to the door.

Yugi gathered all his books and took them upstairs to Yami's room.

As he was putting his books in his bag, Yami came into the room with him.

"Yugi." He called out to him.

"Yes?" Yugi answered him.

"Do you want to go to the nightclub with me tonight after work?" Yami asked.

"Sure, I don't mind." Yugi said.

"Great, I'll pick you up at seven o'clock tonight from Naga cafe." Yami said.

"Okay, I'll be waiting." Yugi said.

Nine hours later, Yugi waited for Yami, until Maurice had him do an extra shift and Yami was held up at Sennen's Marriott.

"Yugi, why aren't you working?" He asked.

"I'm waiting for Yami, he and I are going to a nightclub.

"Well, Mr. Sennen is being tied up at Sennen's Marriott so he can't take you anywhere tonight and I need you to do an extra shift so go back to the locker room, put your uniform back on and get back to work." Maurice said.

"But Yami..." Yugi was cut off.

"His name is Mr. Sennen to you, now get back to work." Maurice snapped.

"Yes sir." Yugi said as he walked away with his head down feeling sad at the fact Yami was a no show.

He came to the cafe ten minutes later.

"Where's Yugi?" Yami asked Maurice.

"He's in the kitchen doing the dishes, I had him do an extra shift." He said.

"What? Why?" Yami asked.

"Because I didn't think you were going to take him anywhere tonight and I had him to address you by your last name." Maurice said.

"How dare you!" Yami snapped.

"Yami?" Yugi said as he walked up to him and Maurice.

"Yugi, I'm so sorry I kept you waiting for so long." Yami apologized.

"It's okay, I was wondering what took you so long, I thought you wasn't going to take the club tonight." Yugi said.

"Nonsense, I'm going to take you to the club, so go get changed." Yami said.

Yugi nodded his head and headed back towards the men locker room to change clothes, leaving Yami to deal with Maurice.

"And as for you." He said as he glared coldly at him.

"Oh no sir, don't fire me!" Maurice said as he started pleading with him.

"I'm not firing you..." Yami said.

"Whew! Thank God!" Maurice said as he wasn't prepared for what Yami was going to do to him.

"... I'm demoting you back to waiting tables." Yami said.
