Chapter 34- Yami's plans: Win Yugi back

Previously on The love of the Naga Master and the Pure Hearted Angel.

As soon as he tried to close his door, Awai pulled the door back opened and pulled Yami out of his own car.

"YOU'RE GOING TO GIVE ME WHAT! RIGHT NOW!!!!" Awai yelled at him.

"Eh! Git yo hands off him!" Joey shouted as he ran up to her after seeing her pulled Yami out of his car.

"Joey!" Yami shouted.

Then he pushed her out of the way, causing her to fall on the ground.

"YOU DARE TO INTERFERE WITH OUR RELATIONSHIP?!!!" Awai asked as she stood up and pulled out a gun at Joey.

Then Yami yelled out, "You're absolutely pathetic! MIND CRUSH!!!"

Then Awai fell back down on the ground, Shadi came outside and saw that Yami knocked her out unconscious.

"What should we do with her Mr. Sennen?" He asked.

"Take her to the hospital. If they ask what happened to her, tell them she got hit in the head with a baseball bat." Yami said as he and Joey walked around her as they went inside the house.

"What happened to her?" The doctor asked.

"She was hit in the head with a baseball bat." Shadi answered.

"What's her name?" The doctor asked.

"Her name is Awai Katami and I cannot stay long, I have to go, Take care of her." Shadi said as he ran out of the hospital, leaving the doctor speechless.

The next morning, Yami and Joey went to Ryou's apartment to talk to Yugi.

"No way! You knocked out Awai?!" He asked surprisingly.

"You shoulda seen him Yug, he used some kinda magic ta knock her out without even touching her." Joey said.

"You didn't kill her, did you Yami?" Yugi asked.

"No, she's going to be out cold for two months, so she'll be okay. I just hope that my "mind crushed" didn't cause her to go brain dead" Yami said.

"So, what about Mr. Yoshino?" Yugi asked.

"Yoshino is on his way to prison, it turns out he took another life yesterday and it was one of our employees from the Naga cafe." Yami said.

"When did you find that out?" Yugi asked.

"Earlier, before we came here." Yami said.

"Da police came ta da mansion and talked ta Yami and he told them everything. He even told em dat Yoshino and Awai was working together to spy on you guys and were plotting to kill ya." Joey said.

"Also, they found some evidence on Yoshino leading to the murder of one of the guests at Sennen's Marriott 1, they even had him to confess to setting Naga 16 on fire, so he's being charged for second degree murder and arson." Yami said.

"And chances are, he won't be gettin out anytime soon." Joey said.

"Well, that's good news." Yugi said.

"It is." Yami said as he and Joey agreed with him.

"So, why are you guys here?" Yugi asked.

"Cuz Yug, you can't leave yet. Now that Yoshino is in jail and Awai in da hospital, ya safe now." Joey said.

"And why are you telling me that?" Yugi asked.

"Because we.... Joey could you give us a moment?" Yami asked.

"Sure." Joey said as he left to go in the guest room, but when he went in there...

"Hello Joey Wheeler." Bakura said.

"Ahh! Bakura! What are ya..." Joey was being cut off when he shushed him.

"Do you want to hear what they're talking about?" Bakura asked quietly as he and Joey started eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Yugi, I know you feared for your life and you felt like I did enough for you to keep you safe, but I still love you and I don't want you to leave." Yami said.

"But what about your cafe, your hotel at Shibuya and everything that you owns?" Yugi asked.

"I own a lot of places here and they are important to me, but not nearly as important than you. I know that I came on to you too strong when we first met, it was because I was trying to get over Awai's betrayal, but I didn't stop to think what could've happen if I treated you like a friend than an employee, I didn't stop to think what could've happened if word gets out that we are living together, because I didn't think it matters so much." Yami said.

"Why?" Yugi asked.

"Because, everybody knows me, they know who I am and they would know that I'm seen with you, which I'm sure word has already been out to the world, so nothing is happening." Yami said.

"So you just now realized that, just like you realized Mr. Yoshino was spying on us, watching our every moves and had Awai involved." Yugi said as he started to get angry.

"There's a lot of things that I realized, everything I did was to protect you, I wasn't trying to put you in danger or have you be humiliated, I want to love you and protect you, even if it means losing everything I owns, I will continue to love you and protect you, whatever it takes for me to get you to stay with me. If I have to beg you to marry me, then that's what I'll do." Yami said.

"Yami." Yugi said.

"Please Yugi, please stay and marry me. Together we'll own the Naga cafe, Sennen's Marriott 2, Sennen's beach resort and Sennen's casino. I'll make you my partner and my husband." Yami said.

"You own a beach resort and a casino here?" Yugi asked.

"Well, my beach resort is in Okinawa and my casino is in your hometown, Domino. So yeah." Yami said.

"When were you going to tell me that?" Yugi asked.

"I thought you knew about the beach resort and the casino since you knew about the Naga cafe, Sennen's Marriott 1 and 2 and apartment building Naga 16." Yami said.

"So that's five places you own." Yugi said.

"And I was planning on taking you to two of those places, but with the situation with Yoshino and Awai..." Yami was being cut off.

"I'm not interested in none of those places, nor I'm interested in running those places with you. I'm also not interested in marrying you, because there's too much going on and I don't want you risking all of you businesses. I love you Yami, but I can't marry you, I'm sorry." Yugi said as he picked up his suitcase and left the apartment, leaving Yami alone and disappointed.

Joey came out of the room and patted him on his shoulder.

"Think of it this way, at least he didn't hate ya." He said as he felt sorry for him.

"Let's go home." Yami said as he and Joey left the apartment.
