Chapter 8- Yugi drops out of college

Later that night, Yugi fell asleep after studying.

Yami walked in the room and picked up him, laid him down on the bed and tucked him in.

Then he started to have romantic thoughts about Yugi as he kneeled beside him and watched him sleep.

"Ra. He has the face of an angel." Yami thought to himself.

At first he thought about asking Yugi out on a date, but he realized he only got to know Yugi just that one time, so he doesn't want to rush into another relationship with him.

Then Yami got the thinking as he thought about that kiss he gave Yugi on his forehead, "Even though I don't want to rush into another relationship, I don't want Yugi feeling like I'm coming onto him too fast. After all, he is a college student, and he is looking for another job. I don't want to feel like I'm destroying his future knowing I should be protecting him, not going out with him."

Yami put his hand on his chest as he felt his heart skipped a beat, the last thing he wanted was to ask Yugi out on a date.

The next morning, Yugi woke up and saw Yami asleep on his chair.

"How long has he been sitting over there?" He asked himself.

Then he got out of bed, grabbed some change of clothes out of his bag and left the room without waking Yami up.

Yami woke up as he heard the door opened and closed.

Then he noticed his bed was empty and started looking around for Yugi.

"Where did he go?" Yami asked.

He got up off the chair and left to look for Yugi.

Then one of his maids saw him walking down the hall.

"Ah good morning Mr. Sennen." She said to him.

"Good morning, have you seen Yugi?" He asked.

"I just saw him, he went in the bathroom, he's probably showering and changing clothes." The maid said.

"Oh I see, thank you, carry on." Yami said to her as she bowed and walked away.

Yami sat on the floor for two minutes, waiting for Yugi to come out of the bathroom.

Then he thought about asking Yugi out on a date, but as soon as he thought about it, Yugi came out of the bathroom and saw Yami sitting on the floor in the middle of the hallway.

"Ha, Yami what are you doing sitting on the floor?" He asked.

"I was looking for you and the maid told me where you were." Yami said as he got on his feet.

"Yeah, I was in the bathroom showering and changing my clothes, I'm gonna be late for school." Yugi said.

"Oh, I'll have my guards go with you for protection." Yami said.

"Uh, okay thanks." Yugi said as he started to feel uneasy about having Yami's guards protecting him all while he's at school, but to Yami, he doesn't trust Yugi being alone, especially when Yoshino is out there plotting his revenge.

Later that day, Yami went to work with Yugi on his mind, but little did he know, Awai was at his mansion looking for Yugi.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for this young man, have you seen him?" She asked as she showed the servant the picture.

"I'm sorry, but we don't know anything about him." The servant said as he closed the door on her.

Awai started to feel defeated as she walked away, then someone approached her.
