Stryker let her into his room because he knew this was the only place that she could make sense of everything. He knew she was either going to understand or completely freak out and hate her parents forever. Hell, he was in for it now wasn't he, her mother, him lying, Malicious lying...Merrick lying... She was thrown in a terrible situation and now he was going to have to hand most of it over to her in one sitting he suddenly realized how screwed he was. He had no idea how he was going to tell her about her mother... how do you tell your child, also one that just found out you're their father that their mother passed to the White Realm, when he himself was pissed off and dying inside knowing she was no longer alive.

She walked in and she seemed just as nervous as he was. He wasn't honestly sure where to start, when it came to telling her about all this, but he knew his room had lot of pictures and letters so he figured he would let her decide where to start off. She stood by the door for a minute nervously rubbing her hands together; he could only image what she was thinking but he was there for to answer all her questions.

"You can look around if you want to." He spoke.

She smiled awkwardly and nodded her head, she walked straight over to the dresser that had all of his favorite pictures sitting on it and hanging on the wall behind it, he shut the door and slowly lingered behind her, letting her have her space, but also letting her know he was there for her.

Layla was getting more and more annoyed as time went on, she was to the point now that she wanted to scream and hurt something, bu she wondered around a room to amuse Stryker she liked the masculine leather smell it was oddly comforting. The room was dark grey with black tile flooring and a huge bed that was a lot like Malicious bed. There was a fire place with a black leather couch and a matching chair with coffee table in front of it. She counted at least five book cases of all different sizes pressed up against walls over flowing with books, along with every table having stacks on them, there was books everywhere and she suddenly realized where she got that from.

Layla was upset about the lying and the pain that was caused, but it did make sense since her mother did always say that she was so much like her father, her eyes, her hair, her bravery and strength, how smart she was and the fact that she loved to read so much like him, but she had never seen any of the traits from Merrick, He had brown eyes, Brown hair, Was a jerk and she had more physical strength than he did and he never ever read a book in the whole time she knew him, so she never ever understood what her mother meant by her being like her father when she couldn't have been farther from Merrick...But Stryker, she had so much in common with Stryker that now is made so much sense. She will have to tell her mother that she understood that now.

Layla looked over the photos in front of her and on the wall. There was a bigger photo in the middle of the wall. It was her mother...or a female that looked very much like her mother, NO that was defiantly her mother. As Layla got closer to the photo she realized that was defiantly her mother and now that she was looking the photos on the wall and the dresser were of her mother...and her, some of them even had Stryker and her mother kissing or he was holding her mother, while her mother had the biggest smile that she had ever seen, as she thought about it she had never seen her mother smile like that in her whole life.

"How did you get these photos of me?" She asked.

"Your mother sends them... she wanted you to stay in my life even though I wasn't allowed to be in yours."

Layla just nodded her head and looked over at the photo in the middle of the dresser, it was in a little bit bigger frame, and it was very beautiful. Her mother was kissing Stryker on the cheek and he actually looked happy... not that he wasn't now, but it was a different happy... it was a euphoric happiness. Layla's heart ached, she knew this love and this pain. She couldn't help it she picked the photo up from the dresser and ran her hand over the image like she was trying to feel their love and happiness.
