A sleepless night
Staring at the warm glow of the street lamp
Making patterns on the roof
A restless
Toss and turn
Looking for a warmth
But my searching fingertips
Find no fire
A humm in the background
Imitates a heartbeat
But my ears find it annoying
My sleep is gone
Much like your touch
And I yearn for the soft glow
Of your warm hands
On my body
And I dream of your eyes
Staring at me as I wake up
And I am greeted with love
Your bite is more loving
Than most peoples kiss
And your kiss
Is a gentle love letter
Trailed across my skin
I didn't know how much I missed
Until I received your touch
Now I know
I've been craving your love
