Pretty Little Liars

CHAPTER TWO

After class, Emma went to the canteen. She took a tray and a plate. As she put some food on her tray, she turned around, looking for a table to sit. Her eyes fell upon a table in the back and she immediately walked towards it, sitting down, alone. All of a sudden, Emily and her three friends sat next to her.

-Hi! They said.

-Hi! Emma replied.

-Emma, I want you to meet Aria Montgomery,  Spencer Hastings and Hanna Marin. Emily said.

Aria was a smaller girl, with green eyes and dark hair. Spencer was tall, had small lips, had brown hair and brown eyes. Hanna was a blonde tall girl, with amazing blue eyes. They looked nice.

-It's nice to meet you. Wait, your brother is in my class. Emma said to Aria.

-Oh good, he can help you out then! Who's your teacher? Aria asked looking interested at Emma.

-Mr. Fitz. She replied.

-Oh... He's brilliant. Aria said trying to stay serious.

-Yeah. Emma said. Her phone rang. She looked at the message.

"New friends? Well I'm warning you, maybe they're not who you think they are.
       
       kisses -A"

Emma looked at the girls.

-Is everything okay? Hanna asked.

-Yeah... Um... Excuse me. Emma said leaving her stuff and running to the bathroom. The girls looked confused. Spencer took Emma's phone and looked at the text. Then looked up at the girls, terrified.

-It's a text... From -A! Spencer said. The girls rushed into the bathroom and saw Emma crying. She tried to hide her tears but Emily ran over to her and hugged her. Emma broke down.

-Calm down... it's alright... They calmed her.

-No... It's not. She said.

-Emma, who is this -A person? Do you know? Spencer tried to understand.

-No! This person has been torturing me for so many years.

-How long has -A been torturing you? Aria asked. The bell rang.

-Look, I can't talk about this right here... Come to my house after school and we'll talk there. Emma said.

-Okay... The girls agreed and left for their next class.

The girls met outside and followed Emma to her house. When they arrived, they took a look at the house and then sat in the living room drinking coffee.

-I love your house! Do you live here all by yourself? Hanna asked. Emma nodded.

-Great! She replied.

-So... Can you tell us about -A? Aria asked.

-Sure. Okay, so it all began summer 2008. I met a girl in Kranwood. She was great, a year older than me,  but she helped me through everything. Well, she came evry year, but she didn't come in 2010. A month later someone told me that she got murdered.  Emma's eyes started to fill up with water again.

-She was my best friend! And I lost her... After I learned about her death, I got a text from an unknown number. It was signed by -A at the end. Since then I have been wondering who this was... and that's it.  Emma finished. The four girls looked at each other.  They knew exactly what question they had to ask her...
