CHAPTER FIVE

HANNA

As Hanna got home, she immediately dropped her black bag on the floor and ran upstairs to her bedroom. As she got in, she sat on her big bed and turned on her laptop. The only thing she wanted to do was stay alone in her bedroom and cry. She pressed both her hands onto her soft face. She took a deep breath before looking down on her keyboard. There was a note.

'Hi Hanna! I'm sorry I'm not at home. I got a call from work because of an emergency and I had to leave. Promise I'll be back at 6.30,
      Love,
          Mom.'

Hanna took the note of her keyboard and put it on her bed. As she opened the school's website, she saw thousands of comments on "the accident" of Emma.

"Dear Emma, we are so sorry for the accident."

"Dear Emma, we are here for you!"

"Dear Emma. We may have known you for a couple of days, but enough time to understand what a kind and great person you are."

Hanna scrolled down the page. She felt a tear roll down her cheek and crashing upon her hand. As she tried to keep calm, something that was hard to do at that point, she grabbed her phone and dialled Caleb's number.

-Hello? She heard a deep voice from the other side of the line.

-Caleb, it's me... She quietly answered.

-Oh hey, how are you? He asked, while he knew what happened.

-I'm not- She stopped.

-I get it. Is your mom home? He asked Hanna.

-No. She answered.

-Do you want me to come over? He asked.

-Yes... Hanna answered softly,  another tear falling from her eye.

Caleb hung up. Hanna went downstairs with her laptop to wait for her boyfriend to ring the doorbell. She decided to read some other comments on that page while she was waiting. As she was reading some comments, she saw a quite long text.

"Dea Emma,

      I've known you for a couple of days now and you seemed like a very cool and strong person. I don't know a lot about you though, but that doesn't matter. I know that you are strong and kind. You can are strong enough to fight this. You can do it! I trust you.     YOU HAVE TO FIGHT!

Who is that? Why are tge letters A and M with capital? What? Hanna asked herself. The doorbell rang. It was Caleb.

-Hey. Caleb started.

-Hi.... Come in. Hanna replied.

As he came in, they sat in the kitchen.

-So what happened exactly, because a lit of people say a lot of things. He explained as he sat down on a black kitchen chair.

-Well, Emily got a text and as we wanted to walk towards her to see what happened, we heard Emma scream. The next moment she was unconscious. She fell. Hanna said.

-Whas it a text from-

-Yeah....She finished his sentence.

Caleb looked down and didn't say anything.

-How is Emily? I know she got pretty close to her from day 1. He asked breaking the silence.

-I don't know. She was heartbroken when she heard the news. I haven't really talked to her. Hanna said.

-How did that happen? Between them? Caleb asked.

-No one knows. When she first saw her at the Brew, she said she had seen her before. Hanna explained the story.

-What do you mean?

-She thought she had seen her before.... Like when you experience something, but it feels like you have experienced that before. Hanna answered.

-What could this mean? Caleb asked confused.

-We don't know. She answered. As they continued talking, Hanna showed him the website with the comments.

-Have you seen this? This last one is pretty emotional! Who wrote this? Caleb answered as he got to the lonh text signed by "-AnonyMous ".

-Yes and no. Hanna answered shortly. Hanna rested her head on her hands while she was still thinking about the accident -A caused.

-She has been here for what, a day or three and she's already in a coma, how is it going to be for the rest of the time! Hanna added afterwards.

-Sh... I understand. She will be OK. Caleb answered giving his girlfriend a kiss on the forehead. Hanna gave him a hug.

-Thanks for being here. She said.

-Any time! He answered.

Hi... Sorry these chapters have been pretty boring, but good things will definitely come. These chapters are just to explain what the girls do.
