5. The Date

Blaire's House, Streatham Hill, Temperature 53°F, Autumn.

Blaire sat there quietly. She was worried, she had only just met Edward and she was scared and couldn't find a better excuse to turn Edward away. She had not had a boyfriend since she was eight... Even then she was never really pleased with the one she had in the past - he was always getting himself in trouble and he even managed to get himself arrested... After he got arrested, she dumped him out of fear. She did not want to get caught helping him thieving wallets stealing bikes and stuff. At least Edward wasn't a Pokémon with criminal intent.

She was sitting outside wearing a green dress, mint green gloves, and some earrings. Then Edward came up and sat next to her wearing a black tuxedo his mother got him, he didn't like it because he had already put together an outfit to go out for their date... But when his mother threatened to take away his video games - he didn't really have a choice.

"You don't look happy," Blaire said, noticing his annoyed facial expression.

"My mum chose to be a pain in the arse and make me wear this when I already had an outfit in mind! - Uggh! Parents!" Edward groaned, then he sighed as Blaire got up, about to show off her dress

"Do you like my dress?" Blaire asked, twirled around joyfully.

Edward blushed, "Y-Yeah. It's beautiful"

Blaire let her face turn strawberry red, "R-Really?"

"Yeah, why did you ask?" Edward asked.

"My mum wore this dress on her first date" Blaire replied, laughing a little, "She told me dad was her first date and that they never broke up... They got married and had me, my sister Rita, and my baby brother Desmond. I think my mum is going to have another one because I saw an egg in their room"

"Do you think it's a girl or a boy?" Edward asked curiously.

She looked at him an irritated smile, "It's a boy"

Edward laughed, he felt bad for her but couldn't help but laugh at the expression on her face, "Were you wishing for a sister?"

"Yes, Desmond gives me hell so I was really hoping it wasn't a boy" Blaire groaned.

"Oh, I see" Edward replied, scratching his head.

"Do you have siblings?" Blaire asked looking up at the stars.

"Yes," He replied, "I am the second youngest of four children, my sister's Maya and Kristabelle, and my younger brother Nathan. Like your little brother, they all make me want to blow my brains out"

Blaire laughed, picturing Edward in hell with his siblings, "You have it worse than me!"

"Indeed I do heh heh" Edward moaned disappointedly. Then he remembered that they were supposed to go to an Italian restaurant...

"Oh um! I think we should get going" Edward replied, standing up reaching out so Blaire could take his paw. She smiled and took his paw with one of her velvet glove covered paws.

While on the way to the way there, Monique noticed the two leaving the tube station... The Vulpix became so jealous she just had to follow them, she was curious to know why Blaire was out with Edward - the Pikachu she wanted ever since primary school. Once the two arrived at the restaurant, they sat down at a table the waiter provide them. She looked through the window and watched as the Arcanine led them to the table.

"What would you children like tonight?" He asked opening his pad.

"Spaghetti!" They both replied as if they were at a birthday party and having a good old time.
