Chapter4: Crying lightning

Amy's pov:
As I turn around, I see his face. I was taken aback by Alex and both bands noticed. So Alex from the cafe is also Alex from the arctic monkeys!what a coincidence.
Yet for some reason I felt something tingling inside me but I just ignored it. * Amy don't get fooled by this dickhead, you know he's a lady's man*. But still I liked the Alex I met in the cafe.
Not to mention he had changed a lot physically. The last time I ever saw a pic or summat of him With the band, he was a cute English boy with scruffy hair. But I have heard musically wise they have changed a tad from their early albums. And I guess their appearances too, I guess.
"So Amy, I'm sure you already know our famous lads." Colin says.
"I thought I did", I say a bit distantly without realising.
Both bands and Colin look at me strangely.
" I think those cigarettes have gotten into your head", Sam says.
" yeah right", I respond.
"Anyways guys, the band will be debuting in a few days and playing their first live performance at this party where lots of bands will be attending.
Of course The arctic monkeys will be attending. We have already done publicity and promotions, lots of people want you to perform for them and this party is your debut ceremony.
You will be debuting and releasing your single on the same day as the party and will perform live. You guys will be great I'm so glad I signed you guys at the bar we met in. The audience will love all of you and Amy love, you will captivate people by showcasing yourself the way you are.
Out of nowhere Miles Kane pops out of nowhere and we all just stand there. Miles says hello to all of us and high fives Alex.
" So who are this lot?!", miles questions.
" the careless our new band label mates", Matt replies.
"Hmmmm, how old are you love?", Miles asks me.
"19", I say in a vague manner.
Alex pov:
" well one thing I will say is that you are astonishingly beautiful Amy and I'm sure all guys will be after you, and I'm sure your talent tops it all.", Miles says while facing me. What the hell mate. I cough slightly, the girl just smirks at me. Why does she make me feel this way. I always hook up with girls and they're always stunning but they never make me feel this way. I haven't felt this way ever since Alexa which was a while ago. She's dead cold but charismatic at the same time. She seems different from other girls. She's not extremely nice and outgoing but is at the same time. She's not a slut or a slag who will throw her body at me once she sees me yet she seems quite mischievous and cheeky and she knows what she does to men. She has this aura to her. It's  like she's a can of dandelion and burdock and those other girls are just post mix lemonade.
