"Mizumi?" I open my eyes to be meet with the eyes of my brother.

"Haruto..." I said weakly.

"What's wrong? Get up and eat your breakfast or you'll be late" says Haruto.

"Haruto... I feel lightheaded" I said while sitting up.

"Got a fever?" He ask as he place his hand on my forehead.

"Hmm... Stay at home then" He says.

"I can't... I got project to do" I said.

"Mizumi, you're having a fever" says Haruto.

"Haruto, I'll be fine" I insisted and he sighs.

"You are staying at home today Mizumi, no arguments" says Haruto and he closed the door.

"H-Haruto! Haruto-niichan! Open the door please!" I said while banging on my door weakly.

"I'll be back in a few hours. Meanwhile you need to rest" says Haruto and I fell to the ground with a sigh.

"Rest Mizumi" says Haruto before leaving.

No way am I going to stay at home! I watch as Haruto walked away from home. I took this chance to change into ny uniform.

Thankfully he didn't lock the door. I then immediately headed to school despite my sick condition. It's been about two weeks since I transferred to Shikon High.

I got along well with the class, except for Naraku and his gang since Kagome said to stay away from them. Although, I got along fine with Kanna.

And I've been having a crush on Sesshomaru since day one when I met him and when he saved me from... Whatever, I don't want to think about it.

I manage to reach school despite on the verge of fainting a few times. Howevwe, as I was climbing the stairs, my visionw as getting blurry and I could tell I was going to pass out anytime.

"N-No... I can't pass out here" I mumbled as I force myself to climb the stairs but I suddenly slipped.

I shut mt eyes tight, waiting for the impact but rather, I was met with something comfortable, like clothing?

I open and look behind me. I gasp. It was Sesshomaru.

"S-Sessho—"

I silently gasp with my eyes widen when he place his hand on my forehead. I was blushing but I'm pretty sure he couldn't tell since my face was already red from being sick.

"You're sick, why'd you still come to school?" He ask.

"I had to... For the project..." I said while trying to climb the stairs.

"Your body won't hold at this rate" He says softly but firmly.

"Please Sesshomaru..." I pleaded weakly.

He remained silent but eventually supported me to get to our classroom. When we entered, the chatter in the class stopped when they all saw me with Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru then walk me all the way to our seats and I felt like I could finally relax.

"Mizumi-chan!" Kagome and Sango came to my table.

"Kagome-san, Sango-san, ohayo" I said with a weak smile.

"Daijoubu? You seem sick" Kagome ask while touching my forehead.

"You should go to the nurse office, you're running a fever" says Kagome.

"I'll be alright Kagome-san, don't worry. Besides, if I don't come, I'll delay the project and it won't be a good thing for Sesshomaru-san" I said.

"But..."

"Everyone, back to your seat!" Says Mr Totosai and everyone went back.

However, I couldn't focus on what Mr Totosai was saying. My vision had gotten blurry every now and then and my head hurts.

"T-Totosai-sensei, may I be excused to the washroom?" I ask.

"Hurry back" He says and I nodded.

I got up and was about to walk when everything around me started spinning and the next thing I knew, I fell unconscious with people calling out my name.
