Zim sat in the comander seat on the deck of the ship; gentle touching his wounds. Gir had managed to flimsily patch up his Master, however, he mistakenly got patches and bandages all over his own legs and arms. The small robot didn't care. Once he was finished he was more concerned with food. He fumbled off of the commanders arm rest with a thud. Zim grumbled hearing the stupid, little robots mistake.

" doubting my Tallest is never my intent but I do wonder if you are advanced technology. No. They would only give the best to Zim! After all, I am their best invader.", Zim spoke in a snarky tone. He leaned over his chair to peek out to the middle room of the ship. Zim showed a devilish grin on his visage as he spoke once more," I am much more worthy to be on this mission than the stupid Dib-worm". He peeked Out farther; hoping he could get a rise out of Dib.

There was no sound heard. Not even the creaking of the nest, or the buzz of the monitor. All that could faintly be made out was the crunching sound of Gir, chewing on a foreign food.

Zim narrowed his eyes as he sluggishly got out of the chair. " Dib-filth! Zim is speaking about you!", he shouted in an irritated tone. ' where could that stupid filth be?', he remarked, sneaking over to the door that lead to the middle room.

Once he managed to peek around the corner the only sight was Gir. He was disgustingly snacking on an green and yellow sausage shaped food.

" you really are disgusting.", Zim commented on the repulsive scene before him. He leaned against the wall; slinking his way past Gir and over to the back room door. Zim knocked on the door. Hearing no response Zim spoke irritable," Zim is commanding you to come out this instant Dib-worm!"

Once again, nothing was heard from the larger alien. Zim proceeded to bash his fish on the door in anger. He was upset that he didn't get an apology, upset that Dib wasn't responding to him, upset that he couldn't get the attention he wanted. After a few pounds Zim slumped against the door in defeat. " Dib-smell! The great Zim is calling for you! Come out!"

...

" No."

...

An echo was heard from inside the room. Zim's antennas perked up at the sound. Sure, it was small, but it was progress. The shorter alien turned his back to the door before slouching down to the floor and sitting there. " Come out! Zim demands it!", the loud alien croaked out with pride. He waited a few moments, glazing at the door hastily every once in a while.

" No. I've had enough of you. I can't be around you. You have done nothing but cause trouble this entire trip space-boy.", Dib grumbled out. He was sitting on the other side of the door, keeping his forearms on his knees. He was hunched over, looking at the black and blue patterned floor. Dib watched a small robot he had constructed fumble across the floor in a lazy motion.

The robot had wheels and a system that was made to roam around until garbage was found. Dib pulled his goggles up before leaning back against the door. He relaxed his back letting his head lean to the side in a lethargic motion.

Zim heard the small bump of Dib's head hitting the door. He smiled, knowing that the filthy-Dib was at-least listening to him. Zim let his legs stretch out on the floor, putting his hands between them on the floor. His attention was drawn to Girs filthy eating before it reached back to the Dib-thing.

" Be greatful. Zim is not upset with you.", he remarked, looking back at the silver plated door.

Dib smiled slightly, looking up at the ceiling of his lab. " I know. I'm.. sorry for hurting you..", Dib spat out begrudgingly. His body slouched foreword once more; his hand moving to the back of his neck.

Zim sat up on his knees, pressing his antennas to the door in order to hear what was happening in the room. He was interested in what Dib was doing; though, he knew he wouldn't be able to go inside. He thoughts he'd give it a try. " Dib-thing.. can I come in?", the small invader questioned.

Dib let out a soft laugh before relaxing against the door while a stupid smile grew on his face.

" sure. "

A few small beeping sounds rang out from inside the room before the door opened slightly. Zim scrambled toward the door, squeezing his small body inside. He looked around the room, letting his eyes adjust. He saw a large tube of vibrant blue liquid. He made note of all the messy papers and  bottles strewn out across the floor. Soon his eyes trailed from the slightly green glowing floor to the larger invader leaning on the door. Zim took his place, sitting next to the Dib-thing.

Dib didn't say anything, he only closed his eyes and rested against the door. His slump position was definitely going to come back and bite him in the morning, but he didn't care. He was comfy and relaxed.

Dib's eyes opened to the feeling of something bumping up against him. His eyes widened slightly when his vision trailed to the small invader he had hurt not a day ago leaning against him. Dib smiled slightly and let Zim rest against him.

Zim's chest moved up and down in a relaxed movement. Once he had managed to lean up against the dib-worm he had fallen fast asleep. He wasn't much for 'cuddling', but after the stressful past days, having something warm and big to hold onto didn't seem so bad.

Dib leaned just head back onto the door one last time, letting sleep over take him. He smiled happily; being able to feel the breath of the smaller alien on him. Guilt relief hit him like a truck, causing him to slam into sleep. Dib grinned foolishly as the darkness overtook him.

He was happy.

There and then.

He was happy.
