Chapter 20

Earth

I went to GMM today because I had a schedule. P Podd had a meeting in his restaurant. I didn't want to disturb him.

After the schedule, I got a text from an unknown number. It said that I had been waited in the gym. I thought it might be Joss.

I went to the gym directly. Fortunately I brought my stuff I needed to have exercise. I couldn't find Joss there but a receptionist called me and said that someone was waiting for me at the park in the gym.

Immediately I went to the park. There was no one except a girl with long hair.

"Excuse me? Oh, Mey?"
"Sit down, Earth." I finally sat down in front her. I wanted to know what she would say to me after she met my Podd.

"Remember when we shot our series few months ago?" She started to speak. I just nodded.
"You told me that you wanted to introduce P Podd to me, but people now said that you are dating with him. Is that true?"

"I can't answer your question." I said coldly.
"You lie to me, Earth. You told me that you didn't recognize him."
"I did. I just knew his name but P Newwiee introduced him to me and we got closer then."
"So why didn't you introduce me to him? But you stole him away."
"I'm sorry about that."

"Sorry? Is it easy to say sorry? You have made me embarrassed, Earth. I met him few days ago. I thought he at least knew about me but I looked like a stranger to him. I forced him to take me home, but he boldly refused. Is he gay now?" Her question made me surprised.

"What do you mean?"
"He had a girlfriend before he joined GMM. I knew that girl." I never asked P Podd about his exes.

"Mey, I'm sorry for disappointing you. I can't control what would happen to me and P Podd in the future. But one thing you should know is that the decision in P Podd's hand."

"You must say something bad about me to him. Am I right?"
"No. I have never told him something bad about you. Do you remember the last marathon event? I told him about you that you wanted to know him."
"What was his reaction?"
"Nothing."
"You lie."
"No."
"You have made me disappointed, Earth." Mey stood up angrily and wanted to leave me.

"Wait, Mey! Once again, I'm really sorry. But can you tell me what you said to P Podd when you met him?"
Mey stopped walking. She didn't look back but she prepared to answer.

"He told me that you were important to him. He asked me not to blame you.  Are you happy to hear that?"

Without hearing my answer, Mey walked away.

I was so surprised that I couldn't think  anymore. Did P Podd say that to Mey? 
She was right. I was happy to hear that.

Plapodd

Today is my birthday. Nothing was special. Just some messages from friends. Earth called me last night and then he posted something in his IG to congratulate me. He posted my picture wearing his favorite brown animal coat.

He said that today he had a class so he couldn't meet me. It was alright. My manager told me that I would have a meeting at a cafe.

I had no idea why we had a meeting at a cafe. When I entered a room, a happy birthday song was heard.

My fans were surprising me.

The room was decorated beautifully with simple ornaments. Some blue balloons with my name on them. It was touching.

I was surprised. They didn't tell me about this party. I thanked to them for coming and making my birthday more meaningful.

When we were chatting, someone entered the room and my fans sang again.

That was Earth bringing a birthday cake!

I could say nothing. It was surprising. Wearing flowers-motif-shirt, he looked happy.
"Why are you here, Earth?"
"They called me few days ago." What? My fans called him. How far they knew our relationship?

Earth made the party alive. He was a cheerful person. He also liked teasing me. A fan asked him to say something about me. I was touched by his saying. I thanked him very much.

When my fans sang a song for me, I took a video of them. I was in tears. I had never expected that I had some fans. I thought I was not more popular than Earth.

Earth patted my shoulder to make me ease. After singing, they asked me and Earth to eat the cakes. Earth was so loving at that time.

When the party ended, we were still in the cafe. Some of our fans went home, but some were still there.

I sat on a sofa and looked at my fans' gifts. Earth was on his knee beside me. Our fans screamed when they saw our interaction. Earth hugged me and whispered, "Happy birthday, Darling. I love you." I laughed at him when I heard it. He hit my head gently and then kissed my head when I was busy continuing checking the gifts. My fans screamed louder.

After he kissed my head in front of our fans, Earth returned to his seat but I kicked his butt. He was happy after what he did to me.

My manager wanted to take a picture of us. Earth suddenly sat on my lap. Our staff teased us a lot. We were really happy.

We decided to have dinner together. Only Earth and me. We went to a restaurant. Earth wanted me to sleep at his condo, but I refused. I told him that my family also waited for me to have a birthday party. Therefore, after dinner, I drove Earth to go to his condo first before I went home. He went to the cafe by taxi, so I didn't let him go home by taxi.

When I arrived home, I put my phone and saw Earth's twitter update.
"I saw you very happy today. Happy birthday. Drive safely. If not, I would hit you by a wood stick." I smiled looking at it. I replied his post with a gratitude.

Then I sent a private message to him
"Thank you for this beautiful day. I LOVE YOU."
"I am the one who should say thanks.  Thank you, P for protecting me. I LOVE YOU, TOO."

I didn't have any idea why he wrote it. But it was the best gift I have ever got.
