Sorry, it's a bit short, but I finally had some time to write so here we are. Also, this chapter makes me happy.

My hands clenched and unclenched as I tried to tame my anger. The sharp-nosed man with a terrible odor in front of me was not making that easy, though. He sat at a nice desk and had a plethora of awards and degrees framed behind him. At second glance though, I could see the scratches in his desk and that some of the "awards" were from his middle school days.
"Why do you think you're in here, Rocket?" He asked in a bored and annoyed tone. We always started these conversations with the same opening.
"I don't know, Principal Joel." I shoved my fists into the pockets of my black jacket and glared at the floor.
"Principal Waters! Show some respect, would you?! Students should not address their principal by their first name."
"Respect is earned," I gritted out, bored with this old exchange. Literally, we've gone through this so many times. Waters clearly agreed with me as his next words were new.
"Haven't you had enough?! If you don't want to go to school and stay out fights, then get out! This school doesn't need trash like you!"
"I'm not trash because I get into a fight here or there," I spat. "If anything, you're the trash. There must be a reason why you're stuck at this school now. Everyone knows about how you got fired!"
"Get out of my school!" Waters yelled back at me. "You are expelled! If the fights weren't enough, your lack of remorse and discipline are more than enough!"
Anger flared through me. This school was my only chance. Other schools would never accept rejects from the worst school in the state. Standing up quickly, I slammed my fists into his desk.
"Well, then let's go out with a bang, shall we?!" I roared, seeing red.
His eyes widen and dart around, looking for a way out of this. Everyone in the offices nearby was used to us yelling so no one came to check out what was going on. His door was shut and, quite honestly, no one would care if I beat him. Waters was an ass and everyone knew that.
Before I can do anything, though, I feel my phone buzz in my pocket and my ringtone starts blaring. My anger subsided a bit with the distraction, but not much. Whoever was calling me better have a damn good reason or there would be hell to pay.
"What do you want, Silk?!" I yelled, answering the phone. "Yeah, fine. Whatever! Sure, I don't give a damn! I am not being emotional! What do you mean?! Fine, we can stop at my place and pick it up first! Sure, I'm going! I'm in the middle of being expelled anyway!"
I hung up and jabbed a finger in Waters' direction, ready to unleash hell, but I was too distracted by the look on his face. His face is abnormally pale and his face is terrified. No matter how angry I've been before, I've never seen him so scared. I realized that his fear wasn't because of me.
"You know Silk Fontane?" He stammered out.
"Well, yeah," I muttered, weirded out by his behavior. What the hell was going on?
"On second thought, I'm a principal who is merciful and gracious," He said urgently. "Consider your expulsion taken back. Why don't you take the day off to rest and come back to school tomorrow? I'll count it all as excused absences, even."
It took me a second, but I finally realized why he was acting like this. It dawned on me then, just how powerful Silk really is. I mean, I already knew that she was rich and well known, but she really has everyone wrapped around her icy fingers, doesn't she? Including myself. Yet, somehow, I was okay with it.
