**FLASHBACK** (chapter: his protection towards her)
"Elton I need to talk to you about something very important," I said my ears twitching a little.
"if it's about you having your ears and tail out the fuck ya is important, you know how risky that is?!" Elton said.
"I know how risky it is but it's only for Halloween everyone totally thought they were fake," I said.
"Fine but after tonight you keep your ears and tail hidden, you know what will happen if you dont," Elton said.
"ok ok I promise after tonight no more ears and tail, but that's not what I wanted to talk to you about Elton..." I said looking at the floor in awkward fear.
"Then what is it then?" Elton asked eyeing me down like a hawk eyeing a mouse.
"Colby..."
"Oh?" he replied.
"I wanna date him..." I said grabbing my arm slightly blushing.
"absolutely not, you know mom and dad dont want you dating, do you know how much trouble I would get in if I let you date him!" he spoke.
"He cares about me Elton, he cares about me like no one ever has before," I said.
"I dont care how much he cares! I will not let you date Colby. period," he crossed his arm.
"you dont understand... you will never understand..." I said before running to my room.
**END OF FLASHBACK**
"no not that... it Colby..." I said, he turned around and looked at me.
"I'm listening..."
"I wanna date him, look I know I asked you this back in the trap house but please Elton..." I said looking at him sadly.
"look my answer hasn't changed n/n," his voice was much softer then it was when I asked him this in the trap house.
"please Elton, you dont know what it's like to be so madly in love with someone, and know they are madly in love with you but you're not allowed to be with them!" I cried, suddenly Elton looked down and sighed.
"you dont know n/n, you dont know..." he spoke softly, I looked at him confused "alright... but you have to promise me that mom and dad will never find out!" he said pointing at me.
"I promise!" I smiled, I jumped out of the chair and hugged him tightly almost crying from joy. he smiled down at me before letting go.
**TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY ELTON'S SOFT SIDE**
I was now in the elevator to the apartment building Colby and I lived in, as soon as the doors opened I ran out of the elevator and to the door, I burst the door open almost breaking it down. Colby fell off the chair he was sitting on in the kitchen from the fright he was just given.
"jeez you may be tiny but you got some strength to you," he said standing up and fixing his hair a bit, I ran over and hugged him tightly. "it was just a compliment..."
"I'm not happy about that you, goof," I said looking up at him.
"then why are so exci-," I cut him off by grabbing the front of his shirt and pulling him down smashing my lips onto his just like I did at the suicide bridge, his stance was almost exactly the same as well. he soon started kissing back passionately.
"I love you Colby brock," I said pulling away, he made a small whimpering noise at the loss of contact.
"so does this mean..?" he started.
"well I still wanna talk to my parents first about it," I said.
"Alright," he smiled.
**TIMESKIP**
I told my parents I was coming over for a visit and I was on my way there now, once I arrived my parents hugged me.
"y/n it's so good to see you again, hows life with Elton and the others?" my dad asked.
"it's great!" I said.
"We missed you so much!" my mom said hugging me again.
"well, there is a reason I'm here actually..." I said.
"oh?" they both said.
"I met this guy, and I really like him, and he loves me too, and I wanna date him..." I looked at them nervously.
"no, no daughter of mine is gonna date some random guy!!" my mom said.
"I agree with your mother, what if he hurts you or cheats on you or uses you!" my dad said.
"he won't do that!" I said.
"how do you know?" my mom asked.
"Because I know him!" I said.
"do you really though?" my dad said.
"YOU DONT UNDERSTAND!!! YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND!! YOUR HAPPY TOGETHER YOU BOTH ALREADY HAVE SOMEONE TO LOVE, SO DOES ELTON AND I HAVE NO ONE!!! I HATE YOU BOTH!!!" I screamed before getting opening the back door of the car, gambit growled at my parents a bit before jumping into the car. I closed the door then opened the passenger door showing Colby in the driver's seat frowning, I got in the car and slammed the door.
"imma take that as they said no..." Colby said as he drove off.
"bingo," I said reaching back and petting gambit.
"you wanna piss them off?" he asked.
"big time..." I said,
"date me to scare them then!" he said
"I cant Colby they treat me like I'm 5," I said pulling my hand back to the front seat.
"show'em you're all grown up" he smirked at me, I smiled and pecked him on the cheek.
