Evelyn

After Harry was feeling better and strong enough to maneuver by himself, I took him back to his room and went home.

As I was walking to my car, my phone went off from a text message.

Maddie: *dont forget about tonight, we'll meet there around 9:30, it's 34 broad ave, love ya ! x*

I roll my eyes but smile at the text as I walk towards my car. She is something else, let me tell you. Her personality is completely different than mine. She loves going out and partying her ass off. Then there's me who likes to stay inside watching movies and eating until I can't anymore.

I'm an introvert and she's definitely an extrovert.

I peer at the clock on my dashboard of the car and realize it's already 5:30. What a long day this has been. A lot has happened since and Harry's seizure definitely threw me off today. I know his medical files says that he has a history of epilepsy, but for some reason I guess I just didn't come to terms with the fact that he could still have them. Luckily, I knew what to do. I had a friend back in Florida that was epileptic and she told me what to do if I was around while she had one.

He really scared me today, I didn't know his seizures were so bad.

My thoughts were cut off as I pulled up into the parking lot of my apartment complex, or as they like to call it over here 'flat' or whatever. I park the car and kill the engine and make my way over to my door. I unlock it and step inside to the dark living room, pushing the door shut behind me.

I sigh loudly, dropping my purse on the couch and kicking the boots off my feet. I walk over to the kitchen, looking for something to fill my stomach before I go out tonight.

I search the wooden cabinets before landing on a family size bag of veggie chips. No, I'm not on a diet. But these are so incredibly good, I'd recommend 10 out of 10. I grab a water bottle before stepping over into the living room. I collapse on the couch after grabbing the remote control and turning on the tv. I flip through the channels, not finding anything interesting on at the moment. I switch over to Netflix to find a movie to watch instead. I decided on the Notebook and press play.

I don't pay much attention to the movie, I've been scrolling through my phone bored out of mind trying to do anything to make the time pass.

After the two hour movie is over, the time is now around 8 o' clock. I should probably get up in shower. I switch the tv off and lift myself up off of the couch. I toss out the bag that used to be filled with veggie chips and stalk over to my room. I quickly walk over to the bathroom to turn on the shower and letting it run while I quickly find an outfit to where. I decided on a simple black, sleeveless body con dress that ended at my mid thighs and paired it with sleek black pumps and a cropped jean jacket that was slightly distressed.

I lay the outfit out on my bed and walked back into the bathroom shutting the door behind me. I strip from my clothes and hop into the shower. The steamy hot water relaxes my tense muscles from my long eventful day. I decided not to wash my hair and only wash my body. I run the sponge up and down my body, running over ever part with soap. I rinsed my body off with the hot water before shutting the shower off and stepping out of the tub.

I wrap a towel around my wet body and exit the bathroom moving to my bedroom. I reach for a clean pair of underwear and a clean bra and slide them on after dropping the towel to pool around my ankles on the floor. I walk over to my dresser and rub some lotion over my skin to moisturize it before returning back over to my bed. I pick up the sleeveless dress and slide it onto me. The dress hugs my curves perfectly. I should really go out more often.
