Chapter 2: Surrounded

It has been 2 days after the incident with Yui and the drunk guy. I have been noticed by the authorities and congratulated for my apprehension of the Man. It turns out the guy has been Harassing girls all over the Women's Army Camp. I walk outside of my cabin and girls swarm me with flowers.

"Hey! Get away from he's mine!" Some of the girls said. All of a sudden, they went silent.

'Yaaaaaaaaaawn'. A voice came from behind me. "Good Morning Nagaro".

It was Yui. She was wearing a long shirt with one of the shoulders slouching down. She put her hands around my neck and laid her chest on my back. She whispered into my ear:

"Just Play along, Nagaro. The girls will think we're dating."

I was nervous she was only in a Shirt but I had to go along with it.

"T-This is my Girlfriend. Yui Amano." I managed to say

The girls started to blush, realizing she might've slept at my cabin. They bowed their heads and apologised.

"It's fine. Just don't bombard me with gifts after i wake up." I reassured

The girls all gave me the gifts and walked away. I was happy they gave me gifts but I don't like being cornered by girls that don't know me well. Speaking of girls...

"Yui. Why are you in my cabin in only a long shirt.?" I asked. She was sitting on my bed, One leg over the other.

"This is my main cabin. I just wake up earlier than you and walk out the back door. The door in the back leads to an small apartment with a kitchen, bathrooms and everything! We could....Live in their together if you want-Hey!"

"I have to get to school. See you later!" I said while putting on my sweater. She got fully on my bed and tried to grab my shirt.

"But I want you...to play with me....." She mumbled while i walked out the door.

___________________Army Base,Combat Class, 9:00 AM________________

2nd period. I am learning Combat instead of engineering. There's supposed to be a substitute for the week.

"Good Morning class. Good Morning, Nagaro." The Sub said as she came into the classroom.

Yui?! She's the sub for the week?? I have to put up with her shenanigans all week now.

"My name is Yui Amano and i will be your sub for the week. I may not look like it but i know some combat." She Stated.

I spent the whole class studying the complex atoms assignment than actually doing combat. Yui wasn't bothering me in class, surprisingly. I have this feeling in my gut that something is wrong. I just can-

[Attention] All Militia soldiers, please arrive at the first gate.

I was startled for a bit but i think it's just a little Drae.(What we call a small monster).

I got up from my seat and ran out the door along with Yui at my back. We ran to my cabin first to get my assigned weapon. As soon as we reached the gate, there were monsters surrounding the area.

"Oh shit. This is gonna be difficult." I said as i pulled out my weapon. It was A bandage that I wrap around my hand. It Lowers my unknown power and levels it so i don't kill anyone.

"Hello Nagaro!" A voice said

It was him. The man who took Aimi, at the front lines.
