FUCK! I sighed. The passive aggressive approach I used apparently doesn't work for someone stubbornly hard-headed like Julian Stephenson. That pain in the ass kid has caused me insomnias for nearly 2 weeks now and he seems enjoying to see me being suffering this way. And, just earlier he came to me threatening with some stupid remarks making me to contemplate for hours on where possibly on earth he gets that idea from? Not to mention he's also closely creating connection with Lydia! This kid, why he keeps taking away all the important people in my life one by one, piece by piece? Doesn't he feel tired of keep meddling and destroying other people's lives?

Now I sit in my car like a loner in the middle of nowhere trying to figure out what is he really up to. If anyone ever knew my high school grade doesn't meet the minimum requirement of St John's Admission Eligibility Standard, my life would come to an end, my life would be seriously fucked! This university is out of my mom's connection, my very own uncle, the previous engineering faculty director has left the varsity to move to a higher role in another institution. So I literally have no one here in St John's that I could look up to aside of my best friends in Bay 10.

Unable to contemplate well, I dialled Damien's number and called him inviting for a little Saturday's night drink. He was down immediately to the invite and later invited everyone in our group to come to the bar downtown we usually go for the weekend. 10pm sharp, I reached the bar's compound and quickly immersed myself with the lousy sound of the night club. Damien, Christian, and Javier were sitting there in a VIP table drinking shots of tequilas. Lucky enough, people has yet to start crowding the bar so I could find my friends inside just in a glimpse. Approaching them, I noticed there were 3 bottles of tequilas on the table and one was already empty! These kids, are they human or what!?

"Carlson! Always late huh!" Christian yelled out loud, beating the loudness of the music sound that occupies the bar all along. I sneered, playing innocent as I was 30 minutes late from our appointment.

"Baby you're alone?" My other friend Javier asked, showing his endearment with his sweetness, the prettiest boy in our group, but also the fussiest one.

"Nah I came with an Alien!" I teased. The other two boys were starting to laugh.

"Aw, I thought you are coming with my baby.." Javier groaned, showing the frustration on his face.

"Your baby?.." I furrowed my eyes.

"Ugh that Stephenson kid you genius!" Javier snapped, rolling his eyes in annoyance.

".." I gave him the "fuck you" look. Damien then handed over me a tequila shot. I immediately grabbed it, and without thinking any further, I swallowed it all in a go.

"You looked so pale bro, you a'right ? " Damien asked, staring at me as if I have just committed a crime. I nodded, trying to act natural, trying to avoid suspicion.

"You know you can always talk to us if something bothers you right?" He added, patting my shoulder.

I smiled, giving them the i-am-okay look. It's not that I don't wanna share with them what's bothering me, but I don't wanna drag them to my worries. I know they're having their own problems too, so I don't wanna add up the messiness in their heads. That's why I stay strong in front of them, I stay vigilant, I stay invincible.

"Lydia isn't coming?" I asked the boys to divert their attentions to rather than focusing on me. They looked to one another in confusion.

"Didn't you invite her along?" Christian asked. I shook my head. The three of them then sighing loudly as if I was the reason Lydia didn't join us. If only I don't love them this much, I would already smack each of them in the head real hard. Playing innocent some much ha!
