The Vampire Princess

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Hi, I'm Mika Tachibana and this is my story. I'm 15 years old, I have long wavy light blue hair, green like cat eyes. I also have a little mole under my left eye. Now my story begins here today is my junior high graduation. I'm so happy I just found out that my best friend Nyanko Ichikawa and I got into the same high school "Hatsu Academy". Nyanko is 15 like me, she as long black hair with yellow like cat eyes, she is kind of tiny, she's like to my shoulders. Now back to the story.

It's the next day I got my new school uniform. It's a white blouse with a red blazer and a black skirt. To make it my own I added a black choker, long black knee socks and some loafers. Hatsu Academy is a private boarding school located far away in the forest near my hometown. Nyanko and I get to live in the dorms there and what's even better I found out that Nyanko and I get to be roommates.

So now it was the afternoon Nyanko looked very depressed about something. So I asked her what's wrong. She said it was nothing, but I know she was lying. So I just left it alone for now. She will tell me what's wrong when she's ready.

Hey Nyanko can you believe that we are going to Hatsu Academy tomorrow! Yeah, I know we are going to be high schoolers! Well, Nyanko it's getting late, I will see you tomorrow. Ok, by Mika I will meet you at the bus stop tomorrow. After I left Nyanko I was in my room trying on my uniform.

Wow! This uniform looks so cute on me! I love the skirt it's really nice not to mention the blazer too! Also, the arm links are not to bad! I just have to take a picture of myself! Awesome I have to send this to Nyanko.

Mika, it's time for dinner! Coming mom it will just take one second. So mom what for dinner! Flower-topped hamburgers! That sounds tasty! By the way mom I have been wondering you look worried about something. Mika, I'm just fine. Come on mom I know something is bugging you, you can tell me. Well, I'm not so sure that you should go to a private boarding school. Mom you don't need to be so overprotective of me I'm a big girl now. I can take care of myself besides Nyanko will be with me. Well, I guess I can't stop you when you already made up your mind. Thanks, mom.

The next day I said goodbye to my mom. Then I went to the bus stop to meet up with Nyanko. I saw Nyanko waiting at the bus stop for me. Hey, Nyanko you know my mom was acting really weird yesterday. Oh, you don't say, well she's probably just worried about you. Yeah, your right.

We'll Mika looks like the bus is here. Well, we should get on. Ok, Mika! Nyanko and I got on the bus we sat in the back. One hour past by. This is a pretty long bus ride don't you think Nyanko. Nyanko oh I guess she fell asleep. We'll sweet dreams Nyanko. Another hour past by.

Hey, Nyanko wake up where here. No, Mika, I could not have another bite. Nyanko your hopeless ok, Nyanko I have grilled fish for you. Grilled fish where! Hey, there's no grilled fish here. Mika, you lied there's no grilled fish. Sorry, but it was the only way to wake you up.

Seriously Nyanko sometimes I think you act like a cat more than a girl. What! I a cat don't be silly I'm not a cat. I just meant that as a joke, you don't have to freak out so much. I know, we'll what did you wake me up for. I just wanted to tell you were here. Nyanko and I looked out the window. Oh wow! Hasu Academy is so big and beautiful. Nyanko I know this year is going to be the most exciting year ever! You have no idea how exciting this year is going to be. Nyanko did you say something? No not a word at all Mika. Oh ok, I guess we should get our stuff ready Nyanko. Ok, Mika!
