Chapter 1

~three days later~
"Whoo that was an amazing trip guys!" Exclaimed tails after landing the plane outside his garage.
"It was fun I'll admit but it was even more fun with my love right by my side." Said shadow as he jumped of the wing of the plane.
Sonic slid of the plane with a half-grin and tired eyes.
"Hey sonic are you alright?" Asked shadow.
"Just a minor headache maybe I'm just tired or sat in one place to long. You want to go on a run guys?" Asked sonic.
"Sorry hun but I have to get back to work I'll be home at 9 love you." Said shadow as he chaos controlled away.
"Well what about you tails? Wanna go on a run?" Sonic Asked to tails.
"I think we should rest sonic if you have a headache running may not be the best option right now." Said tails while starting to head inside.
"Okay..." Sonic slugged into the house and sat on the couch in the living room. Tails walks in and sits on the recliner.
"How about we have some chili dogs for lunch?" Asked tails.
"Sure that sounds good." Said sonic grabbing a blanket at covering up. Tails walks into the kitchen and starts to make the chili dogs. While tails makes the chili dogs sonic starts to shake then feels his stomach churn and he throws up onto the ground next to him. Tails heard the noise and came back out to check on him.
"Sonic!? Are you okay!?" Tails Asked worldly as he started to wipe of Sonics mouth and cover him up more.
"I don't know tails... I just feel like garbage. My head hurts and my stomach is twisting and churning." Sonic explained as he closed his eyes and breathed deeply.
"Maybe it's the stomach flu I'm gonna make you some chicken soup instead okay?" Tails didn't get a reply and saw that sonic fell asleep. "Get well sonic..." tails then walked of and quickly made the chicken soup.

~Sonic's Pov~
After I threw up I decided that I'll take a nap so I fell asleep. Not even what I think was ten minutes my head is pounding. So I sit up and moan loudly in pain. I think I heard tails come into the room and asked me what was wrong but I couldn't talk so all I did was moan again.

~No Pov~
Tails ran into the room and saw sonic moaning in pain.
"Sonic?!? What's wrong!?!" Tails asked frantically. All tails got was another moan in pain. "That's it I'm calling shadow and bringing you to the ER!" Tails then calls shadow as he picks up sonic and quickly brings him to the ER.
"Shadow the hedgehog." Shadow Said onto the phone.
"Shadow you need to come home now!" Shouted tails.
"You know I can't with G.U.N. but what's going on?"
"I'm bringing sonic to the emergency room!"
"What!!! What's going on?!?" Shadow asked frantically.
"Sonic threw up and is having major headaches!"
"Alright I'll be there shortly!" Shadow then hung up. Tails puts his phone away and runs into the waiting room.
"Please somebody help him!" Tails asked scared for his brothers life.
"What's happening young fox?" Asked a nurse. The nurse then sees sonic's condition. "Get him into room 418." Tails nods, brings him into the room, and sets sonic down on the bed. A doctor then comes in.
"My name is doctor thorn. What happened to your friend?" Asked dr thorn.
"I don't really know he threw up then a few minutes later he was moaning in pain while clutching his head." Tails told the doctor.
"I see we will do a cat scan and take his blood he seemed to have calmed down some so let's take his blood now."

Meanwhile with shadow he ran into the commanders office.
"Commander I need to leave now!" Shadow asked scared.
"Shadow you know you can't leave. Why do you want to?" Asked the commander.
"My husband is in the ER!"
"I see...  your free to go but bring rouge with you." The commander then dismissed shadow out of his office. Shadow then quickly found rouge.
"Rouge let's go where heading to the hospital." Said shadow.
"What why?" Asked rouge.
"Sonic is there now let's go!" Shadow then chaos controlled the two to the reception room.
"Hello what are you here for?" Asked the receptionist.
"I'm here to see sonic the hedgehog. I'm his husband." Said shadow with tiny tears in his eyes.
"Of course, he's in room 418."
"Thank you." Shadow and rouge then sped Otho the room to see sonic sitting up while tails holds his hand. "Anything yet?" Asked shadow.
"Shadow!" Said sonic weakly.
"No nothing yet..." Said tails. Sonic then stared off into space unresponsive. "Sonic?"
"Sonic what's wrong?" Asked rouge.
